Bill Belichick: "Gotcha!"

3rd team he's got this season with sending Mallett out there.

Love that; very smart and effective.

Forcing the Ravens to waste a time out.

Difference this time is that they sent the first team OL out there. And, they had Bolden in the backfield, could have run a play against 5 special teamers instead of a DL. Could have potentially been an easy first down play

Pats neeed to win this or i'm going to sulk and no one wants that..

jazman 21-01-2013 12:53 AM

Congrats to the Niners. My father and my son will both be happy ...

Ravens had to take the timeout - Bill sure knows what he's doing. Can't see past the Pats - really don't rate the Ravens that much. A poor QB on the road along with an ageing defense against a high tempo offense should make things a lot easier to call than the NFC Championship game.

Think Falcons played well but didn't learn the lessons of last week. Just need a bit more on defence and should go one further next season.

Ravens D has been solid so far, will need turnovers to win though.

kayjay 21-01-2013 01:11 AM

Boldin not quick enough to get any space.
Moving in slo-mo compared to the previous games WR's

kayjay 21-01-2013 01:20 AM

This is a punt-fest

pauldrulez 21-01-2013 01:22 AM

Talib going down is massive.

Arrington is an excellent slot corner, one of the best in the league.

As a perimeter CB, he's just not very good.

Well, they should get back their best defender who missed the whole season. But they need to find a replacement for Abraham. And Gonzalez is probably done. And I doubt they'll bring back Turner. So probably a lot of changes all over the place.

saxoneagle 21-01-2013 01:32 AM

Eurgh. Defenders dropping like flies and Ravens go ahead. Not sure I can stay up until 4 to watch this!

pauldrulez 21-01-2013 01:32 AM

Dire.

Took one drive to hurt the run and pass defense with Love and Talib both out.

LBs are slow as **** too.

A bad QB on the road with the most playoff road wins...

A win today and Joe Flacco would have the most road playoff wins by a starting QB in NFL history.

The Ravens game is based on the run and their defense. Over the past three years Flacco's rating at home is 95.6 compared to 79.3 on the road. His TD-INT in the same time period is 38-13 compared to 29-19 which suggests he is comparatively poor on the road.
