Won't be a sellout next year then if the Foreskins are making an appearence!
Speaking of them, Nookie hasn't been on here all week! |
So,
Why did you start following the NFL? When did you get into the NFL and how old were you? What made you pick your team? |
I swear we done that 2 weeks ago ;)

We done this at the end of the season in February, let's do it at mid-season for this season and see how we do. Quote:

What is your teams favourite play (so far)?
Brady, handoff to Green-Ellis, runs deep into the tackles and fires it back to Brady. Who finds Moss deep for a TD in the snow. The best play of the season? Broncos. Orton via deflection to Stokley. League(not team) Moment of the season? Vikings beating Niners with 0:02 on the clock with Favre finding Greg Lewis in the endzone. Team MVP? Brandon Meriweather League MVP? Drew Brees Superbowl 44 winner? New Orleans Saints Runner-up? New England Patriots What are you looking forward to in the future with your team? A young defense who are hitting hard and doing brilliantly with a lack of experience. Mayo/Guyton at LB. Wilhite/Butler at CB. Meriweather/McGowan at S with Chung as backup. All 25 or under. And Pryor, 6th round pick, the only down lineman on 3rd down in the passrush. If we can add a Pacey D-End like Freeney (even half as good), then we'll be in great position on Defense for years to come. When you play against 7 TE's and 6 have season-low numbers, you know you are doing something right. Unsung hero is McGowan on that part. Can't wait to see him vs Dallas Clark. Whose next? |
I hate the way QBs have always been overprotected.
;) |
I hate the way not one person mentioned Eli Manning's moaning and bitching during their game last week and whinging for flags etc.

Was a very good coach as well. Decent & dignified man too. |
Just for the geeky among us:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...hing_Trees.GIF Not quite sure how Marvin Lewis comes under Cowher when he became known for his work in Baltimore, and I'd be more inclined to link Tony Dungy to Chuck Noll than Marty Schottenheimer, but interesting nevertheless. Part of me still wonders if the Vikings would be better under Leslie Frazier than Childress (incidentally I love LeBatard's line on PTI last night - "If I'd known you were coming as Brad Childress I would have dressed up as your mortal enemy, clock management."). I think he's definitely due for a HC position at some point. |
Very interesting reading Strathers, thanks :p
|
Parcells done well. 4 from 4 are still head coaches. Some at a HoF level.
Very interesting diagram Straths, explains a lot :p Anyone else seen Darnell Dockett's pics of the Cards players dressing up in their costumes :D |

And Schaub. Sorry Brady, you're out. And Orton as well. |
Strathers...
Presumably you go a step up with Bill Walsh. Paul Brown has probably the greatest number of disciples imaginable. Walsh, Shula and three or four other big names. All from one man. IMO Paul Brown has done easily more for football than anyone else in the world. |

We've done it a few times since this thread started ...

It was something to do with why you support your team. Give me a sec and i'll find it :p
