Some super football last night, and what a great game.

And, for all the fuss, it was a penalty. “It was holding,” Bradberry conceded in the locker room after. “I tugged his jersey. I was hoping they would let it slide.” I have to admit it is refreshing he is so honest about it.

Pre season pick of the Chiefs over Eagles came in at 125/1, very pleased. Great game. Not all games have a fairytale ending though would have been a fitting way. Some smart game management from the Chiefs, including McKinnion sliding down. Ultimately, the Eagles D was on the field 4 times in the 2nd half and couldnt get a stop, with 3 TDs and would have been a 4th but chose the game winning TD instead.

That 2nd quarter Hurts fumble turned out to be the difference.
7 free points!

So we've traded DJ Moore, our 1st round pick (9) and a 2025 pick for the Bears Number 1 pick.

Interesting article about the NY Giants owner complaining about moving games from Sunday to other days of the week. It's rare to hear an owner sticking up for fans this strongly.

I guess the Jets better win the Super Bowl this year. Good luck with that.

The Packers agreed Monday to deal quarterback Aaron Rodgers and their 2023 first-round pick (No. 15) and a 2023 fifth-round pick (No. 170) to the Jets for New York's 2023 first-round pick (No. 13), a 2023 second-round pick (No. 42), a 2023 sixth-round pick (No. 207) and a conditional 2024 second-round pick that becomes a first if Rodgers plays 65% of the plays this season, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

What was up with Rodgers last season then, can we call it a blip or are there real concerns that he’s not that great anymore?

Packers have absolutely shafted them. Reckon he only plays one more year as well. He wont be doing a Brady and playing till his mid 40's.

He went from probably the safest QB of all time to a turnover machine last season. Some of that is bad luck, some of that could be his supporting cast but some of that might be old age catching up to him.

Played with a broken thumb for quite a few games. He's not what he was, but who is? Still pretty decent for an old guy!

It was a very sudden and dramatic drop off. From two league MVPs in a row to being outperformed by Jared Goff.

Putting my Vikings bias to the side, I think Rodgers deserves another Super Bowl. I’m glad that if he wins it, it won’t be at Green Bay.

A few of hours until the 23 Draft begins. Have a horrible feeling the Cowboys will take a TE in the first. All 3 of the best TE's are receiving players and not blockers. May aswell have kept Schlutz.
Hoping for a D line or O line unless Robinson drops.

Yes I think so as Dallas needed a fatty down the middle to stop the run.
Gutted though as Philly selected 2 top defensive rookies to bear down on Dak twice a year.

Any 2 of RB, TE or OL would be good tonight.

Yep, the Eagles had an amazing round.

I’m pleased with the Vikings, Addison seems to have most of the fundamentals to be a star.

GB2506 28-04-2023 10:59 AM

Buzzing with the Pats pick. Trade down a couple of spots and get an extra 4th rounder whilst still managing to get Christian Gonzalez. CB was a huge need for us.

We have 4 4th rounders, expect us to trade up in the 2nd and get a WR

The nfl announced the london games today and Jacksonville have 2 games 1 at Wembley and one at spurs , I wonder how much the Kahn’s bunged the board to get 2 games?

I think that's harsh on Khan. The NFL wanted a "resident" to play each season and he offered them up.

Given how poor the Jacksonville attendances are - for numerous reasons - it made sense.

He hasn't been quiet about wanting to buy Wembley and how he thinks it would be a good idea to have a UK or Europe Franchise side in the NFL so it would make sense to support them.

They've been coming over and playing since 2013 (I think) so it's not exactly new.

Montyburns76 10-05-2023 08:45 PM

I’m probably seeing it from the other teams who
Aren’t partaking in the “European tour” teams like the bengals who haven’t been to the uk in years for me it’s just a case of the same old same old
