On side kick?

PalaceFan in Alabama 30-12-2007 05:21 AM

It is good night from me, and that Pats keep on keeping on

jlmatthews 30-12-2007 05:47 AM

Well, NE are a great team. But can they finish it? AFC is no cake walk.

It is hard to go against them, if tonight is anything to go by.

LLCOOLSTEVE 30-12-2007 02:19 PM

Brady was awesome last night, that Pass to Moss for the recored breaking TD was pretty special after he had just tried it once and failed

elliott 30-12-2007 04:28 PM

Bastards.

And Turnpike Vinny retires today. He threw his first TD pass when I was 6 months old. That's ridiculous!

Strathclyde Eagle 30-12-2007 05:09 PM

Is he definitely retiring? Maybe David Carr gets a job somewhere next year after all.

I'm expecting the Pats to ramp it up again in the play-offs. It's what the best teams always do.

Mr C 30-12-2007 06:54 PM

Impressive stuff by the Pats going 16-0.

Fingers crossed for the Skins tonight

Strathclyde Eagle 30-12-2007 07:55 PM

Lance Briggs nearly killed Marques Colston.

If the Bears go with a Purdue QB for a full season next year I think JLM's head might explode.

Strathclyde Eagle 30-12-2007 08:39 PM

I think Marques Colston needs to ask Drew Brees if he's done something to offend him. Ouch.

True. But I think Indy, Jacksonville or San Diego are capable of giving them a game in the playoffs.

If you think about it... Indy have lost 2 games (going into tonight). 1 to the Patriots with no Marvin Harrison and Anthony GOnzalez got hurt early. They had noone at wide out. The other loss was at San Diego. Again, no Marvin, and Venetiari (sp?) missed a chip shot for the win. The roles could easily be reversed between Indy and NE.

That said, NE is the best team around, but they've nearly stumbled a couple times. Any great team will still win those games though, and they did. I think they will at least get a scare in the playoffs, even if they do win the SB.

Hopefully NE will only have to beat one of SD and Indy as I think back to back games against them would be tough.

saxoneagle 30-12-2007 11:10 PM

Pitt 17-7 down and if they lose and SD win, Pitt will be 4th seed meaning NE could avoid one of SD and Indy...

I want to watch ANY game but my mother is visiting and she's watching Dirty Dancing in the front room with my fiance while I hide in the spare room on the laptop watching the scores online!

Strathclyde Eagle 30-12-2007 11:36 PM

Kick them out! :D

And in the houses of the Redskins fans there's no champagne left for midnight tonight. Great way to end the season.

nookiebear 31-12-2007 12:06 PM

Really satisfying end to the season for the Skins - make the play-offs against the Cowgirls, hold them to a new club record ONE yard rushing and break their 17 game streak of holding running backs to under 100 yards!

Seattle will be tough but I have a feeling the Skins will be heading back to Dallas one more time this season

Oh, and the Skins players apparently are freaking out that they beat the Cowgirls by 21 points (Taylor's jersey number of course was 21 as well...)

I can see the Skins winning their last two if they win in NY

I should have put money on this! :)
