What's the best place to try get a Flacco Ravens jersey from?

I'm fed up of having to pay Customs charges from the NFL shop.

Also can't decide between the black and purple ones.

pauldrulez 14-12-2008 02:02 PM

Try ebay.

I've been looking for a Flacco as well recently. Also tempted by a Cutler and a Chris Johnson.

But then again, I'm trying to add to my Patriots collection again. I have 6, I want a Wilfork one and a Gostkowski one but cant get them anywhere over here.

A Mattyice(;)) one would be good to go with my BC one with his number on :)

Shame I dont have £££££ to spare

Ebay is pretty naff for the "lesser known" teams like Carolina and Baltimore! :(

I'd consider getting an Authentic Panthers jersey especially as they're now reduced but not many options. I think they only do them with Delhomme and Smith off the top of my head.

Have you tried the International Sellers bit, most post to the UK and if you request it, they will make the gift charges low so you dont get custom charged.

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/items/__flacc...idZm38Q2el1313

They are most of the ones that deliver to the UK

Cheers Paul!

Hmmm! Now black or Purple. Prob Purple as I'd prob get the black one with Lewis!!!

pauldrulez 14-12-2008 02:12 PM

I like the purple, but then again, the black looks good.

Not much help at all really ;)

Latvian Eagle 14-12-2008 02:15 PM

Well both are good but I'm not a fan of the Ravens white uniform... It's a bit boring.

Do they wear the purple with black pants ever?

I've seen them in purple / white, white / white, white / black, black /white, and black / black.

Don't think I've ever seen them wear the black pants though when in the Purple jerseys.

pauldrulez 14-12-2008 02:18 PM

No idea ;)

I'm still struggling in my search for nice NFL shirts.

I really want a Pats throwback one since my Troy Brown one went missing a few months back :(
And a Gostkowski one so my Vinatieri one can sit in the loft

Latvian Eagle 14-12-2008 02:19 PM

Lol at least your team has throwbacks... :o

pauldrulez 14-12-2008 02:25 PM

They even have a Maroney throwback

He hasn't done anything for one.

I'd like a Brady, Brown and possibly a Harrison one.

But how will they afford him once they've followed your plan of keeping Brady and franchising Cassel? ;)

AddiscombeEagle 14-12-2008 03:08 PM

I am looking to get a Ravens shirt as well although think I am going to plump for Lewis or Reed to be honest.

Let me know if you find anywhere cheap

We'll offer Watson and Maroney around. You can have him for a fiver.

Nah, I still make you favourites. But he'll never return to the Jets after the way they treated him. And I bet he loves playing for the young, hungry side he's in right now. In 3-4 years time we'll be up there with the league's best while the Jesters will be where they belong - bottom of the AFC East. :lux: :lux: :D

A distinct possibility and if you go on Jets boards, they've been predicting it for a while now.

While the lure of Brett was strong, I always liked Chad and bet on Jets to make the playoffs BEFORE Favre was signed. I liked the team as it was and saw Chad doing well with the OL that was assembled.

Doesn't surprise me (although it makes me physically wretch) that Miami are doing fine, simply because the Big Tuna's there. The man turns around teams - simple as that. Did it at four other teams so why the hell wouldn't he do it at Miami?

One thing I will say is that he took the Jets off a 1-15 year to 9-6 only for them to fall and fail at the final hurdle. Certainly not out of the question that the same could happen this year and end with the same WL record as well.

Any more guesses on the 3rd and 4th best selling shirts this season

Think NY

Strathclyde Eagle 14-12-2008 06:23 PM

We've got a RB and a defensive player left to get.

Cris, count this next question as one of those Question of Sport discussions before someone gives an answer. ;)

Brandon Jacobs anyone?

Grim Reaper 14-12-2008 06:54 PM

Jacobs is right!
