Thanks for that, here's hoping Paul is right out of the two of you.

And Buffalo are one of the worst teams around right now. JP Losman would have a QB rating under 50 if he played in high school matches. Like I said about the Fins last week and this, if we don't win these two matches then we deserve f*ck all. |
No. I can't be arsed.
Anyone want to do a 70s all decade team? I'd be up for that... |

Trying to make sense of all the play off possibilities is making my head hurt! Its quite incredible that the Chargers are in with a chance being at 6-8!
Going to be a cracking last two weeks. So many big games that have implications to end some teams season or make them... Baltimore at Dallas Arizona at New England Pittsburgh at Tennesse (HUGE game) Atlanta at Minnesota And the biggest of all arguarbly in New York as the Panthers take on the Giants. For me, the winner of this game could be the favourite for the Superbowl, considering it will basically secure homefield advantage for the winner. Although saying that, The Giants had to play on the road all the way through the play offs last year so they wouldnt be fazed at having to do it again. |
The Giants need a big, fit Brandon Jacobs for the playoffs, otherwise I cant see them doing it this time.

He wasn't in my Fantasy team either this week. Lucky i'm on a bye. I haven't had any complaints yet about the team, but most the people haven't been online so i'm ok for now :) |

Good shout Paul.
I'm not sure about Faneca on there. And there's a centre that I think I'd prefer. In addition, I'd certainly have Mawae over Kreutz. I think ZT over Bruschi too though. And you have Merriman in there. He was 15 in 2000! I believe Seau has recorded over 10x as many tackles as Merriman. Remember, you are representing 10 years of football here, not just the last 2 years! In other news... It's 0 degrees, I'm wet, I'm cold, I can barely move my leg and my arm won't straighten, but we beat Leeds. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/ph...62&id=61105595 |
And I'd say Sapp above Seymour I think too. I don't know very much about either though.

Panthers to beat Giants on the way to the Superbowl. The South will rise again.

Great comeback for the Eagles from the low point of McNab being benched against the Ravens, never thought they would make the play offs from that point.
If they do make it, they will have some momentum going into the play offs which is always an advantage. |

Not sure who has the worst sense of humour, Joey, or his biggest fan Mr Darville... He could've at least cracked out a Your Mum joke or something!? |
I thought we had no chance after the Bengals fiasco, in fact probably earlier than that when we lost our first 3 divisional games all by less than 6 points (i think). Recently have taken control of games early on, and then shut them out. As you say Addiscombe, if we make the playoffs we'll have some good momentum having beaten the Cowboys and Giants. Cowboys looked very good against the Giants though so will still be very tough. Need them to beat the Falcons first though, otherwise could end up with both NFC South teams taking the wildcards.

Even though I knew the result I sat down last and watched the game as well as NFL gameday afterwards. So all in all, an NFL night ..
Its great to see the Cowboys D really step up and return to the force we know they can be. However, even though they managed to restrict the Giants to 8 points, I was worried the amount of hits Romo took. He really did take a battering. Very pleased with the result and the performance. So impressed with Choice although it has been said that there will be plays to take him out of the game in the coming matches. Ware and Newman are true Cowboy legends though, very impressed with their performances and the fact that Romo didn't throw an INT! Now the Ravens come to town and although they have a good defence do they have enough to take on our defence which is in fine form at the moment. Big game and looking forward to it already ... I see that it's a Saturday night game? Some great action at the weekend. I had to laugh at the Bills though. How much did the Phins pay Losman to do that? ;) A decent comeback by the Jets, good win for the Pats and Eagles ... I have a real big feeling that it's the Steelers year ... My big question is will the Giants recover? Never good going into the post season out of form ... |

QUOTE] I think we could argue all day long over who has the best defence out of the Ravens and the Cowboys, however, what isn’t in doubt is that your offense is far superior at present, so the Ravens defence is going to have to play a blinder to win this game for us. However, Romo has to play well again and not like he did against the Steelers two weeks ago. Hopefully Reed will pick him off a couple of times in the first and he will crumble under the pressure. Time for Flacco to step up another level as well if we are going to do anything this season. |
Two huge matchups next week will almost definitely decide the #1 seeds and home field advantage.
For Pittsburgh, Tennessee and Carolina, the games are huge. For the Giants, I'm not so sure as I think they are the one team that I'd feel just as comfortable picking them away from home than at home in the play-offs. |
