I'm buggered at the moment. I need to get back after the game as I have a very early start the next morning and not really in a position to turn away work at the moment and spend the night out in London with everyone. Trains from Essex are really screwed and I'd have to get a bus from somewhere to somewhere, a train from somewhere to somewhere....you get the idea.

I can either drive to my cousins in E2 leave my car there for free and then get the train to wembley with him but then he's going out afterwards and I'll have to cross London and find his apartment by myself which I don't really fancy doing as me and London do not get on. Or I can drive directly to Wembley but parking is 27.50!!

Beckenham Boy 20-10-2011 01:34 PM

Can you not get a train to Stratford then the London Overground all the way to Wembley?

Swanny32 20-10-2011 02:37 PM

That's what we would normally do but the trains are buggered, we have to get a train to ingatestone then bus to somewhere else then underground to somewhere then train to Wembley. Total travel time in excess of 3 hours.

Beckenham Boy 20-10-2011 02:47 PM

Nightmare. What about driving to stratford and then train from there. Good luck whatever you decide!

My brother works for a hotel booking agency and is currently trying to get us some cheap parking at a nearby hotel for the day.

First, you support the Philadelphia Eagles. Then, something like this happens.

Hope you find somewhere cheap to park.

Sad news regarding EEIE's favourite ex-Eagle.

Rumours around that he has a brain tumour.

That all I heard on Twitter.

Schwartzy to talk soon apparently

NFL London gameday :lux:

Edenbridge Eagle In Exile 23-10-2011 10:40 AM

Enjoy the game, all those fortunate to be going!!!! Strange that it is an all NFC game, don't they normally make this an inter conference game? (Wembley games that is!)

jazman 23-10-2011 11:03 AM

Yes, enjoy all that are going. Will do my best to be there next year. :p

Damn you Paul. Only found out today the fact that Best could be out for the rest of season. Looked to see who the backup is and see that you've already picked him up. Here's hoping he faulters and allows Keiland Williams to step up ;)

pauldrulez 23-10-2011 11:51 AM

Shame I can't fit him in my team really.

Considering benching Daniel Thomas for Morris if anyone wants to do a quick trade?

Also, if anyone wants to follow me in on my bet:

First TD scorer for their team.
Michael Turner (Atlanta) - 15/8
Ray Rice (Baltimore) - 17/10
Darren McFadden (Oakland) - 2/1
Matt Forte (Chicago) - 11/4
Arian Foster (Houston) - 2/1

Doubles and Trebles from 5 with Ladbrokes.

Profit of near-on 300 over the last 2 weeks :p

Barely 8.30 here in LA which means I get to start watching NFL from 10am :D

Fantastic interview with Urlacher in the Metro this week ahead of the Wembley game. He talks about the big thing about tackling and he says that when you commit it's difficult to know where you are going to him the player eventually. You don't want to hurt people permanently, just enough to put them out of the game. I guess most players are like him in that they will not change their style even if it means they will get fined.

But there are players like James Harrison and then there are others ... ;)

Vince Hilaire's Afro 23-10-2011 07:18 PM

LOL @ Cam Newton's 25 yard run on 3rd down - held the ball for 14 seconds!

saxoneagle 23-10-2011 07:18 PM

Weird - they played the anthems from Wembley and then went to the Falcons/Lions matchup!
