Tough introduction to the NFL for Ha Ha. He's a safety. He's missed two solo tackles. Lynch a tough one.

Almost got himself a pick at the end of the half.

All players are equal, blah, blah etc...

Sherman and Thomas should not be playing Special Teams.

If you're a fair catch specialist with great hands, that's fine. But it's idiocy to have 2 all pros playing ST.

It's also very easy to be a great CB when you are covering the 2nd or 3rd WR. If Sherman covers Tate instead of Megatron vs the Lions then he loses points for me. You don't see Revis, Talib, Peterson sticking to one side of the field.

But by sticking him to that one side is basically taking that side away from the offence. No one goes near him.

Right, I know bugger all about NFL but have loads of friends in Minneapolis so I root for the Vikings (i.e. look at the score, when I remember to).

Are they decent? Any chance of anything this year?

But when you line up with 3 WR on the left side of the field, and Sherman is on the opposite side covering either the RB, TE or in zone coverage, it defeats the object IMO.

Yep. Thats a good point.

Can't wait for Sunday night though.

God knows what to expect from the 49ers. I haven't seen any of the pre season games but sounds like we have been woeful; BUT, the Cowboys arguarbly have the worst defence in football this year. Kap and Co should blow it to pieces.

They will not be good this year. But maybe Bridgewater will get thrown in the deep end to see if he has what it takes.
