they will get beaten by the Ravens, Packers and Saints. And by a Rams team that will have pulled their head out their arses by then...
I'm now living and working in San Francisco and the expectation is building. And it's horrible...

Johnintheusa1 29-10-2019 04:10 AM

Oh and the Seahawks... them too

Johnintheusa1 29-10-2019 04:12 AM

Sixers won! **** yeah!

Johnintheusa1 29-10-2019 04:12 AM

Sorry, wrong thread...

Q. How much Patriot dominance is down to perceived pressure and how much comes down to just luck?

Brady throws the 2 easiest interceptions (quite possibly of his career) in the 1st half and the Browns clowns, probably in disbelief, couldnt catch a cold.
And Baker pitches to the wrong guy?
C'mon man!!

I would say that playing against some bad QBs and teams that are poorly coached is playing a big factor.

Is there a stat for how many yards Kittle has made after the catch?

So because the Rams didn't turn up when we did beat them it doesn't count?

If we can split the four games you have mentioned (vs. Packers, @ Ravens, @ Saints vs. Rams) then we will be in a strong position to win the division.

Getting a bye would be a bonus, but I think we'll end up short with the Packers and Saints getting the #1 and #2 seed.

You can only beat whats put in front of you, and its not our fault (bar the Ravens) that the AFC North has three teams that are pretty dreadful this year.

The play that seems to sum up the game for us on Sunday was after a pick in the 3rd Quarter I think, Kyle Allen the bloody QB tackling Richard Sherman about 10 yards ahead of any of his Offensive Linemen. That is dreadful, it's not the bloody QBs job to be doing that, he even had to take down that Bosa guy after a pick too as his O-Line left him to it.

I'm not going to agree, but I am going to state that there's no point in assessing how good the 9ers are until after these games.
Seattle in a couple of weeks will be a better guide than all the previous games.

Still, 7-0 looks great eh? I'll lap that up all day! :D

hughff 29-10-2019 08:38 PM

How good is Bosa?

And BTW - pats/ravens is going to be interesting

Is It Too Soon To Call Nick Bosa The New Lawrence Taylor?

Yes.

8-0!

Not as comfortable as many would have thought, but on a short week and on the road, you will take any kind of win.

Cardinals boxed up our run game and Jimmy G stepped up; no turnovers and his best game statistically in his career I believe.

What I like is this team is finding different ways to win; that's three games in a row where we have won in a different way.

We now have a stretch of three home games...Seahawks first up...the old rivalry returns with some real meaning again!

When are the BBC finally going to stop all the pitchside interviews? so tedious and boring now

CP-RJW 03-11-2019 09:55 PM

Poor from the Vikes. Will just be making up the numbers in the playoffs if we can’t beat a Mahomes-less Chiefs.

davematt 04-11-2019 10:37 AM

31 teams down...only ONE remains undefeated :lux:

hughff 04-11-2019 07:48 PM

It hasn't hurt that your schedule is so weak. While the 49ers have been scoffing a plate of custard squares, the Saints have been chewing on beef jerky and are 7-1.

upperteir 08-11-2019 09:29 AM

The Raiders are starting to make a push! I missed last nights game but looked positive on highlights especially on pass rush which has been woeful since Mack left. Just need a LB who can cover a TE (like gold dust) and we will be a play off team.

You've also got a pretty kind schedule to finish off the season.

Next two games are vs. Bengals and @ Jets. You should be 7-4 going into a monster game on the road against the Chiefs.

You look set for a 10 win season minimum which should be enough in the AFC for a WC spot as you hold a tiebreaker over the Colts.

aj4england 08-11-2019 10:27 AM

Carr has improved and arguably have Rookie of the Year in Jacobs. I would say a playoff team you will be, how much further is anyones guess.
