Jimmy G stepped up and carried the team on his back when we really needed it most. And that play for Kittle at the end was season defining.

Now, whilst not trying to get ahead of ourselves, providing we take care of the Falcons next week, we go 12-2.

Regardless of what we do in week 16, we will still have to beat the Seahawks in the season finale. You do wonder if there will be a temptation (considering how banged up we are), providing we win next Sunday vs. Atlanta, to rest some key starters vs. The Rams. We hold the tie break over the Saints and Packers now so finishing 13-3 will be enough to get the #1 seed providing we win in Seattle (who I expect will win the their next two).

Beating the Rams will actually mean very little now, unless Seattle drop a game in Carolina (highly unlikely) or at home to Arizona (pretty much impossible).

Oh I'd prefer to somehow avoid the Saints in January if at all possible.

I was a nervous wreck in that final quarter and it was because of the QB we were up against. He may not have the rings that Brady has but he is IMO the GOAT.

Supporting the Jaguars is just painful. If only there was relegation and we had a league we could at least be mildly competitive in.

I would still be sweet on Saints for the Superbowl at the prices. They have a good defence and offense have started to click. The one concern, is like yesterday and last year, they find a way to lose games that the best teams just close out.

As an Eagles fan, I agree, not much point making the playoffs with no chance to make the Superbowl.

I guess if they expand to 34 teams it will destroy the division system and could just end up in a two 17 team conference system where you play every team once for 16 games. But that would be a bit only ever playing other conference teams in the Supoerbowl.

Maybe the playoffs could become mixed!
