Hedgehog 31-12-2021 11:30 PM

Over the last month we have spent a lot of money on 2 sets of French doors, having them spray painted and pull down shades for when needed. Guy from the shades place came to install them yesterday and made a complete pigs ear of it. Not only did he get the vertical location wrong as discussed with his boss prior, but I’ve just seen 2 holes in a door where he miss-located a bracket at first attempt.

So frustrating…. This guy should know better, it’s what he does. If I wanted a shit job, I would have done it myself.

Stank of cigarette smoke also…

For some reason you get to appear on stage with Nile Rogers and Chic and the first thing you do is grab your phone and do some selfies.

What a way to start the New Year.
The most outrageous appointment ever, and given its a personal appointment by the Queen herself, all the more shocking.
If he had any shame, he'd reject it, but of course he hasn't!
The Queen has been badly advised. If the honors system wasn't controversial enough as it is, this really is the end.

The odious multi-millionaire war criminal being knighted rubs salt in the wound.

My wife's metaphorical back seat driving. She also does it in cars despite having never driven in her life. I get it for just about every DIY or other job in the house and garden. I once asked her to let me be to get on with it, and she didn't speak to me for the rest of the day.

Not annoy me a such but I did roll my eyes when a social media friend created an album called ‘Project 365 - 2022’ where they plan to post a photo of their life every day for a year.

Jan 1st photo was titled ‘Jan 1st, a day of sorting, cooking and watching Harry Potter’. Can’t wait for more instalments including ‘March 7th - I had a salad & Poppy/Maisie/Arthur/Theo grazed her/his knee’….

Aren't most of these people doing this already with constant Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Twitter etc updates about their fricken breakfast, lunch and dinner? None of it is really of any interest even to themselves if they were honest, so who knows why they think it warrants publishing for the rest of the world to see

Maybe off subject, but I've noticed that both Eze and Ferguson wear black rings on their right hands (not sure which finger).

I'm aware that this can mean someone is making it known they are asexual, but I suspect it could have religious connotations like love of God.

I suspect it is the latter.

Not found a good Google explanation beyond the asexual thing.

Sky pretending (like below from around 18 mins or so) that standing is returning to the PL this week with safe standing at Chelsea. I think that at least in the top two divisions every ground in the country has their end that has stood for maybe 10 years now since fans decided they wanted to have an area to do so, sometimes while jobsworth stewards and police try and crack down on it. Like at Chelsea, their Shed and Matthew Harding lower tiers have stood for every game for years. Why are Sky pretending this didn't happen?

We have lived in this house 30 years this coming March and bird poop has never been a problem in our back yard.

For the last 2 or 3 months with have been completely inundated with the stuff... it's like Trafalgar Square out there!

We have an olive tree just over our wall and the little bastards (I don't know what they are, about the size of a sparrow, but light gray) eat the olives and then poop black crap all over our concrete.

It's not coming off with a hose alone, and pretty much have to add soap and scrub by hand.

We had a few days of torrential rain last week, and they took refuge under our eves, pooping all down the windows and window frames...

Guess what I've been doing all morning?
