Yes - live. If you can stay up all night. But any highlights during the hours of daylight in the UK?

BT Sport 1 has a 90 minute highlights show at 8.45am and repeated around lunchtime but nothing on terrestrial channels for non subscribers. Some reference to a shorter highlights package on the BT Sport App from 4pm that doesn't require a subscription but whether this is 10 mins or 30 mins isn't clear

12.00 - 1.30 Wednesday BT Sport 1 : "The Ashes", but can't see anything on terrestrial. :(

No, don’t think there is any terrestrial highlights.

I too have paid for a month of BT for £25 to watch 3 tests.

Gonna resist. Aggers and co but no Vaughany for me.

You're absolutely right. But curiously if you apply the cricket filter to the sports schedule on BT's website it only mentions the live event.

It looks as though BBC iplayer will be showing daily highlights

Looks like Broad or Robinson are going to miss out as well as Anderson (if Leech plays as expected)

Leaving out Robinson would be ridiculous, surely it's Broad or Wood if Leach is going to play. Even Woakes could be in some danger, although Robinson - Broad - Leach - Wood is a fairly long tail, so I think he'll be in for his batting alone.

Based on the Summer, surely Robinson is the first choice in terms of bowling. Looks like someone who can bowl accurate long spells. Hopefully he can be a real threat for us.

The beauty of an Australian Ashes is that when I wake up at 2am for two hours like normal, I actually have something to do

Big Blue Eagle 07-12-2021 02:22 PM

Forecast looks very stormy so Leach very possibly not in the mix.

Yeah. I think they'll go with 5 seamers this time.

Drop in pitches are an abomination.

stinky 07-12-2021 04:43 PM

Roughly what time will play finish tomorrow morning? About 7am? I'm weighing up a late bed vs early rise.

Late bed. Bottle of single malt.

Easy.

Brisbane is 10 hours ahead of the UK, So, 8-8:30am depending on start time and how quick they bowl the overs.

There is quite a bit of pressure on the SCG from the Winter codes to introduce them, thank fully they are ignoring them.

It's almost unique in Oz now.

I had it down as an earlier finish than that.

First session - 12am - 2am
Second session 2.40am - 4.40am
Third session 5am - 7/7.30am

No?
