Could be a good shout given what Mike Lombardi has said about how good the Colts' defence is in the red zone.

Cake and Eat It 07-02-2010 06:03 PM

Im going for:

Manning MVP
Over 3.5 Sacks
Reggie Bush first TD Scorer

ardeo 07-02-2010 06:25 PM

I reckon Saints could well just nick it. They have more some kind of running game to take the pressure off Brees and they've come through two really tough sides in form (Cards and Vikings). Colts have looked good but beat Ravens and Jets, neither side is particuarly known for scoring points this year.

Saints by 6
Pierre Thomas first TD
Brees MVP
Over 56000 points

pauldrulez 07-02-2010 06:29 PM

Here are my bets for the evening:
David Thomas to score a TD (11/2) Betfred
Thomas - Total Receptions (as mentioned above) Over 2.5 @ 6/5 Betfred
Total Fumbles - Over 1.5 - 11/10
1st half/2nd half: Saints/Colts - 13/2
Garrett Hartley made FGs - Over 1.5 - 6/4
Brees first pass - Incomplete - 21/10
Manning first pass - Incomplete - 21/10
Pierre Thomas TD - Yes - 5/4
Austin Collie TD - Yes - 6/4
First play of game - Run - 5/4

Now betting on them for real as well. Bet they all lose.

Have done a few others as well, but I need to find where I bet with them as I done them on Tues and cant remember which account I used... (Gamblerholic)

My brother-in-law is a N'Orleans fan; he's ever so passionate about them. He has a tattoo and everything :D

Really hoping they win for his sake :)

pauldrulez 07-02-2010 06:37 PM

Oh, add in a bet on each Defense to score the Last TD.

I'm thinking a pick 6 for Powers or Greer to win it :p

All of those are very likeable I must admit.

pauldrulez 07-02-2010 06:49 PM

I've put a decent amount on Joseph Addai Receiving Yards as well.

Over 18.5yards, for a guy that's in on 70%+ of plays, he'll be catching checkdowns a lot of the night.

I'm expecting a huge night for Austin Collie. Saints are capable of shutting down Wayne and Garcon. With Sharper on Clark, it'll be up to Collie out of the Slot getting big yards

Swanny32 07-02-2010 07:24 PM

What were the odds on Addai's receiving yards?

pauldrulez 07-02-2010 07:35 PM

20/23 not huge, but good enough

AddiscombeEagle 07-02-2010 07:39 PM

So far I am on:

Bush to have more yards than Addai
Clark to score first TD and Colts to win
More than 3.5 fieldgoals (took you boys advise on that)

More to follow

Hedgehog 07-02-2010 08:55 PM

CBS's pre-game show is horrible... and only on for 4 frigging hours!

Why anyone would watch it beats me.

pauldrulez 07-02-2010 08:56 PM

Have watched some NFL Network pregame.

There's 8 bloody hours of it so just flicked on and off.

Has been pretty good to be fair.

They're improving with every year.

AddiscombeEagle 07-02-2010 08:59 PM

Paul,

Do you know any good sites for NFL network streamin online so I can watch the pregame?

pauldrulez 07-02-2010 09:00 PM

Of course I don't.

It's not on the following link either:

NFL Network is not on here

(ps: Use the links on there to find it

Same here fella. I'm never going to last at this rate. Damn time difference ... :(

peagle 07-02-2010 09:01 PM

Just whipped on my Pats jersey after my power nap (though I'm touring in the WHO DAT nation for the night). Nearly game time :D

pauldrulez 07-02-2010 09:03 PM

Appears the link may be down on that site now:

NFLN not here either....

CBS is pants. The worst bit so far has been that twat from the Fridays ad (Fiori?) cooking with Ritz crackers, the sponsor of that segment. Weak
