Like to see the Bills do well in the play offs, they've had to endure so hard years recently.

10 year contract... I donít think that would work at Palace!

It would take that sort of contract to get him away from the cushy job he has at the moment. Iíd stay in television if I were him.

I had read that he was also getting a stake in the team. With the pending move to Las Vegas, that maybe a massive income maker for him regardless of what happens on the field.

Some key points re Jimmy G trade;

Kraft did force the trade
He shares the same agent as Brady.
He rejected several 4 year offers around the $17/18m mark
Belichick met Shanahan post the SB
The Shanahan relationship goes back to Mike

Mike Giardi is the closest reporter to Jimmy G.

He says there was never any prolonged contract discussion as they knew Jimmy wanted to play, so that leads me to call into question the reliability of the report.

I almost question if BB will retire this season if they pick up another ring. Heís likely to go through the same transition as after SB39, losing both co-ordinators and having to teach new ones all over again. Itís a lot of effort for a man who is now 13 years older than when Weis and Crennel left. He has his sons established as assistants now.

$100 million is a nice round number eh

I like Gruden though, seems like a decent guy

Crackung first playoff. Two pretty average teams but Mariota has come through in that 2nd half.

Funk Butter 07-01-2018 12:59 AM

Congrats to Andy Reid for Schottenheimering another playoffs.

Luckiest touchdown ever

Yeh it was but he still played well IMO. Alex Smith on the other hand.....

This game is a proper defence bash. Low scoring but interesting

Alex Smith is the most un-clutch (chokerest?) QB in the NFL. Always has been.

Shame as his regular season stats > Brady and others

I do think he wasnt helped by some questionable play calling

Great to see the Jags win. Can’t see us getting past The Steelers mind. Definitely not the pick of the wildcard games though.

Doesn't Jacksonville being successful make it unlikely that the team franchise goes to London?

Well the NFL UK still seems to be pushing them as Londonís team and they are confirmed for next season as pat of the UK schedule, however I think any permanent non US franchise is still a long way off yet.

greybot 08-01-2018 01:38 AM

Enjoyed that. Bortles the runner! Go Jags :lux:

Can't see us beating the Steelers mind. Our form has dipped.

A close game as I expected, but despite shutting down the Saints running game, Panthers couldn't stop Brees. Ted Ginn Jr. also decided to start catching passes against he Panthers that he stubbornly insisted on dropping when he was with the Panthers.
