Indeed. Been a couple of years, too. I think Arsenal have an official Chilean wine as well.

I disgust myself and still drink El Diablo though.

Very nice. Any free wine?

See if you can get their marketing department to drop their international partner...

Still waiting on that. the 2 I teach are from the purchasing dept, so probably not the best contacts.

Mentioned the dreadful "red devils" link up the other day, but, have to say from a pure marketing standpoint, they're capturing a very large wine buying market in SE England.

Yeah, that's cheap, it's a quid around here. Although I am sure there is a tasty margin, the garages do have to pay for the machine and the land on which the machine is placed.

No problem. That other yellow was pretty horrible to be honest. It was worth painting all week and seeing about 2 hours of the sun to get better colours and new ceilings. Doing it in the heat of the summer is a big no no. I'd have fell off the ladder due to the fumes.

I liked the first 2 and Baggariddim with a soft spot for Labour of Love as my mum played it all the time. Going to see them at Newton Abbot Racecourse more for the p!ss up than anything else, but China Crisis and The Fine Young Cannibals who are supporting could be good. No doubt they'll play their most popular stuff, which for the most part, was abysmal.

Yup.

I'm currently having to try and convince myself that paying 450K for a small 3 bed terrace off Portland Road isn't the financial equivalent of being savagely buggered and then having to hand over your watch and wedding ring afterwards to the buggerer for the privilige.

Not got there yet, but by the time I do reconcile this mentally it will be 1/2 Million. Stupid bastard city.

It's true have a look at the below (well at least 450k is definitely representative). I'm not a first time buyer thank Christ but the next step from flat to house if and when it evers happens is going to be equally painful as the first one.

I might help you mentally to compare your predicted mortgage monthly payment with the rent that would be charged for a similar property?

And also bear in mind you'll own it in 25 years (or however long your term is).

Their first album was the first album I ever bought - it certainly was glorious, hugely political and got me in to music as a teenager. Their next two albums were also very good. I even liked Labour of Love at first until they played Red Red Wine to destruction. They then just sunk into coffee bar musak and finally had a very acrimonious split up. Such a shame.
