BOOOOOOOOO!!! :D

RUSSELL 02-02-2009 03:15 AM

I felt sorry for the Cardinals QB....But that was a good game and considering it was the fist time I've properly watched American Football I really enjoyed it, especially the last 45 seconds which went on for 20 mins! Good job Alex Ferguson is in 'soccer' :)

RUSSELL 02-02-2009 03:16 AM

Oh and well done to the BBC for putting the rules and gameplays on their interactive channel

Cracking game, all things considered. Gotta feel for the Cards but they had it in their own hands in the final two minutes and the D just couldn't quite get it down, down to tiredness I assume. Still, whatta game, and what an advert for the NFL. Greatest sport in the world, I'm telling you.

jj62255 02-02-2009 03:22 AM

Seriously, and I'm sorry for banging on about it, but WOW, who was it that said the Steelers played boring football????

That was THE most exciting superbowl I have ever seen! You'd almost think it was a predetermined result!!

I'm speechless, thank you Cardinals for giving the Steelers the most perfect matchup ever! I would have loved the Cardinals to win if it hadn't been against the Steelers, they really showed how to play THAT defense, but in the end it wasn't enough. So much respect for them though, that come back was immense. But again, Steelers I ******* LOVE YOU :lux: :lux: :lux:

The winningest franchise in the NFL

Mike Tomlin, second year coach = Super Bowl Champion

Thought warner and Fitzgerald were sick today. Gutted for the cards but they should have shown up prior to the fourth.

The BBC likened them to the New York Yankees! I don't think so.

No one has dominated like The Empire :D

Haha, I know you hate the Steelers for winning our 6th, but would it be any fun if there were no one to catch up to? ;)

sLlll 02-02-2009 03:39 AM

Prefer to watch Palace or kick a ball myself.

When's the last time you threw a 30 yard bomb (wink.)

You're only a season away & 2 from surpassing :p.

You didn't seem like worthy champs. I reckon your man's foot was still floating in the air. No1 defense, you're having a laugh :bash:

jj62255 02-02-2009 03:47 AM

I must say, I'm ******* wasted right now, but WOW, Thats the closest I've ever come to an orgasm without a woman or my right hand being involved

If anyone who didn't know the game of american football saw that, they would have been hooked immidiately. Those last 5 minutes was THE most exciting minutes I've spent my time on in the past couple of years, no question

Booooh, sore loser ;)

Not worthy champs? Your having a laugh! We had the hardest strength of schedule going in to the playoffs!

Sussex Eagle 02-02-2009 03:50 AM

Well, I think that's the first american football game that's ever held my attention from start to finish and I know it's the first time I've seen the appeal of the sport.

I was wrong to have taken the obvious stance of writing this game off in the past 'cus that was a great bit of sport. Gutted for Arizona, the Suns have always been 'my' basketball team so I was right behind them. But from my limited understanding of what was going on, Pittsburgh deserved it - they really did have 'steel'.
