What about Sunday night football? :(
|
No decision here. I was considering it for the College Football last year. MNF seals the deal.
Love it. I reckon SNF heads to Sky. Hopefully one of the channels signs Carlson and Coombs. |
But 1am? I rarely get time to watch what I record right now ... Sunday early evenings are just fine by me ... quite managable. And subscribing to another channel just isn't feasible for me ... but if the NFL Network decide to get their heads out of the sand then that will be very tempting indeed ...

I understand for you, you've got responsibilities. I have nothing as of now. I've got a full-time job and rarely go out outside of Palace and Carshalton (more to do with not wanting to be stabbed and most of my mates being at uni). But, for me it'll leave me some Sunday watching once F1 has finished with the College Football stuff on Saturday Nights/Early Sunday mornings. Then i'll watch the MNF game live if it's the Pats or i'll watch it Tues night after work.
There's very little I watch on TV anyway, so at least this will provide me with extra stuff to watch. |
And for the 2nd year in a row, I highly recommend this book.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Draft-Year-I...9887441&sr=8-1 It is excellent. Really insightful and gives a real-time look at a year of football from an agent/executive/college players eye-view. Of all the NFL books i've read (Blindside aside), this is the best by a distance IMO. |

Shocking.
5 days of work. Saturday is Palace and I stay out in the pub after that. Sunday is NFL Sep-Jan. With the F1 being on, it makes Sundays interesting :p |

Saints, Falcons, Rams and the yearly game vs the Giants.
Passing team, Overall team, Running team, Overall team. Will be a test. Then again, it means sod all anyway. |
Jags, Bengals, Chiefs and Jets
As you say, means naf all but I'd expect us to beat all three of those teams. Will pre season games be shown on ESPN over here you reckon? |
Maybe, I doubt it though. We'd only get one a week anyway.
I normally watch bits of it online anyway. |

I'm in USA for some of it I reckon, so I'll try and get to some Baltimore & Washington games. |
I normally watch until Brady sits.
Last year i'd watch the first drive from O'Connell/Hoyer/Andrew Walter (;)) and then sleep. I enjoy seeing some of the lesser guys getting their turn in the line-up as well. Edelman and Pryor both impressed and then got their chances to start as the season went on. Can't wait for the Draft. Luckily, the first round falls on the eve before St. Georges Day which I already had booked off. And then it turns into a long weekend. Love it :lux: |
Dude got punk'd
http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos...an-gets-punk-d One angry man who doesn't forget. Love the way he complains about everyone else. Typical Choker player. |

Maybe he'll sleep with Eisen's wife.
Or get drunk and run him over. |
And the thing he is complaining about with the Patriots.
Saying it was disrespectful. The team came running out on the field after the Kicker missed a game-winning FG in the playoffs with 3 secs left on the clock. It's the same year that the Chargers ran their mouths about the Patriots being done and the playoffs being over for them. Then they choked. LT cried in his press conference and said they just acted like their head coach. After he left the field attempting not to shake hands with anyone. Rivers called Ellis Hobbs the sorriest corner in the NFL because he done that celebration. The dude is a turd. He just didn't like the players copying his celebration. And it's a reason why I despise the Chargers and can't wait for LT to get jacked up in the AFC East by the defenses. And then wimp out when the going gets tough like the last 3 years. |
