On another note, saw some clips on ESPN of some Seattle players scared of a snake in a box ... hilarious!

I agree with Jaz, presume its because 5 aren't showing any live football so they don't need to push the NFL anymore :(

Pinkie brightened up my weekend ... pleased to report that she has tweeted me back once again ..

It'd be better if she presented it in a bikini.

Maybe suggest to her Jaz that they do the show at 12.30 at night instead and allow swearing and brief glimpses of Pinky in a bikini or less :)

They'd get more fans of the show that way.

Even Swanny would be happy :D

pauldrulez 29-08-2010 03:30 PM

And she also tweeted Strathers back as well.

So she's at a Chilly Silverstone. No comment.

Strathclyde Eagle 29-08-2010 05:50 PM

I'd only mentioned Jaz's tweet as well. :D

Pity, think the show was better than that. As mentioned before, ITV's early 1990s NBA show was the all-time barrel-scraper in terms of covering American sports poorly. Still haven't forgiven Beverley Turner for it.

Swanny32 29-08-2010 07:11 PM

I just think it was all a bit cheesy and forced. That being said, if she wore a bikini then I'd definitely watch.

Wide receiver Antonio Bryant has agreed to a four-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, his agent, Patrick Brougham, told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Wednesday.

Bryant's contract is worth $28 million, a source told ESPN.com's John Clayton. With incentives, he could make as much as $29 million, with just under $8 million guaranteed.

Without ever donning the No. 19 he received after giving up No. 81 to Terrell Owens, wide receiver Antonio Bryant was released by the Bengals Sunday in ending their most disappointing chapter ever in free agency.

Nice life eh

Strathclyde Eagle 29-08-2010 08:14 PM

Andre Smith approves.

Swanny32 29-08-2010 08:17 PM

8 million dollars for doing absolutely nothing. Nice

Hachi Go is upset that Bryant has been released

Jamaal Jackson maybe starting for the Eagles come week 1! Finally some good news for the o-line!

Vince Hilaire's Afro 29-08-2010 09:43 PM

Panthers defense was looking great again last night. I think they've been getting something like 7 sacks a game. Titans looking very average.

Looks like Clausen will be breathing right down Matt Moore's neck for the starting QB spot.

I doubt that we will pull up any trees as usual, but having a young, hungry and cheap (!) team bodes well for the future.

How are the QB's looking?

Matt Moore has not been connecting at all with the offense. Missed a wide open TD throw to Dwayne Jarrett against the Titans, and, after being given an age by the O-line, threw a pass to TE Dante Rosario despite him being surrounded by 3 defenders. Looking shaky.

Clausen has been far more exciting, but is still learning the game, and would throw plenty of picks if they started him IMO. Will def. be the starting QB in a season or 2 though.

Cantwell doesn't do much wrong but is clearly thought of as 3rd choice.

Pike haven't seen much of.

Straight Outta LA was a fantastic documentary ... really enjoyed that ... kind of makes you wonder what happened in the background really. But are the Raiders really better off in Oakland?
