So as a Giants fan, should I be excited?

I'm going to phone my wife and see if I can laugh at that. ;)

Being serious she'd probably okay it as Tynes has made no secret of being a Celtic fan. (My in-laws are all bluenoses.)

Is Brady's sore leg as bad as his notoriously sore shoulder? Nothing to get excited about in my opinion.

Until the end, where the changed it from what really happened. The end was disappointing but the show was good

Series 2 is meant to be more aimed at the woman's market, apparently, which is a shame as there wasn't enough football in Series 1, if you ask me

elliott 22-01-2008 06:35 PM

I like series 2. It's good, but a bit ridiculous though!

LLCOOLSTEVE 22-01-2008 06:41 PM

Have the 4 teams that are being considered as the home team for next years London game already been mentioned on here?? if not, they are....

Tampa bay Buccaneers
New Orleans Saints
Seattle Seahawks
Kansas City Chiefs

LLCOOLSTEVE 22-01-2008 06:44 PM

Would love to see the Seahawks.

The rest are pretty w*nk to be fair! :hmph:

LLCOOLSTEVE 22-01-2008 07:02 PM

Wouldnt mind any of Saints, Bucs or Seahawks but there are strong rumours that the away team will be Oakland which would be real gay

Strathclyde Eagle 22-01-2008 08:04 PM

Not if they're playing the Chiefs. That's a huge rivalry.

I think they'll be a bigger stink if the Chiefs or Seahawks travel. You're talking about two of the more significant home-field advantages in the NFL there.

Benzhiyi 22-01-2008 08:09 PM

I'm predicting Pats @ Seahawks.

Strathclyde Eagle 22-01-2008 08:15 PM

Slightly freaky!

Ah, when Eddie Murphy made funny films...

Congrats to the Pats (no surprise really!) and more importantly the Giants. Looking forward to the Superbowl now especially if the defiant Giants make a fist of it like they have done throughout. Does this mean that teams will be falling over themselves for the London game next season? :D

By the way, does anyone know what date the London game will be (if there is one) and if so when tickets go on sale as I want to make sure I make it this time around. :p

Strathclyde Eagle 22-01-2008 11:39 PM

Being announced during Super Bowl week apparently.

elliott 23-01-2008 01:22 AM

it's not.

i'm watching episodes at a time.

but it's ridiculous so far!

and less football!

LLCOOLSTEVE 23-01-2008 01:24 AM

yeah, but where!?

nookiebear 23-01-2008 12:39 PM

Natives are restless in Washington and rightly so...

Former New York Giants coach Jim Fassel has interviewed twice for the Washington Redskins' vacant head coaching position, according to league sources, and has become a leading candidate to get the position. Fassel completed his last interview Monday and flew back to his home in Arizona, sources said, and he and Gregg Williams, the Redskins' assistant head coach-defense, are the only people to meet with owner Daniel Snyder more than once.

The Ravens are the NFL's toothless tigers when it comes to offense, this is the last thing we need

Strathclyde Eagle 23-01-2008 12:43 PM

Heard on the PTI podcast that Williams has had four interviews already. You wouldn't blame him for telling them to stick it if they finally offer him the job.

How this plays out for Williams could be of interest for others in a line of succession, like Caldwell (Indy) and Garrett (Dallas).
