Only signed up to it yesterday, won my first game but then it kept freezing mid game on me so I gave up. Will give it another bash sometime soon, seemed good fun if a bit basic.

Basic games are addictive ... they had a mass update yesterday which meant that it was running slow ... I'm hooked on bringing in new players and cutting crap ones :D

He's done. Maybe give him 8 carries a game and see what he does as part of a committee. Could be a decent foil for CJ2K. Or an experienced head opposite Charles in KC.

I agree, having watched a lot of Chargers games this season, and had him in my fantasy team.

He was good at punching it in at the goalline, but he has no big run potential. He needs a massive gap to get about 10 yards. The amount of times I saw him get tackled in the open field for about a 5 yard gain, when a top end RB would have got a big gain was annoyingly numerous.

Could see him going somewhere to help out on the goalline.

If any of you have Sky it might be worth logging onto their "My Account" page and see if you can nab tickets for previews of "The Blind Side". All gone in my area sadly, previews next Monday seemingly.

Will be a good excuse for a cinema visit regardless. Hasn't been a film I've remotely wanted to see in ages. And if Sandra Bullock wasn't up for an Oscar, there probably still wouldn't be.

jazman 23-02-2010 08:40 PM

Just taking a look now, thanks for the heads up Strathers :p

elliott 23-02-2010 08:43 PM

Any of you monkeys going tomorrow?

I've got a full car of american footballers coming.

One of which arrived from Texas last week and has never seen snow before.

I've told him to wrap up warm. And then wrap up warm again.

Damn. Croydon and Sutton are too far away for me from work to get there for 6 sadly. Shame, but I see Alice In Wonderland is the same offer but this Thursday and more local :p

According to a tweet by LaCanfora Brian Westbrook will be released by the Eagles but not until the 5 March for cap purposes but he is free to talk to other teams ...

If this SLP story is true do we all have to become Chiefs fans?

Erm, go Chiefs?

elliott 23-02-2010 09:53 PM

I'd be well up for that. Not the Chiefs bit, but being part of the Lamar Hunt group.

Lamar Hunt, one of the most famous people in American sport.

sLlll 23-02-2010 09:54 PM

Who owe it all to the Dallas Texans ;) :D

He must be from south Texas then because my inlaws are currently surrounded by the white stuff in the north and it's been quite a white winter all around the region.

I quite like the Chiefs and I would like to point out I was one of the people pointing out that I thought Jamaal Charles would be a good, solid NFL RB and lots of people thought I was crazy... :afro:

In my 2/3 years as an Eagles fan he has been my favourite player by a country mile and the main reason I started supporting Philadelphia in the first place, a very sad day for me. I was going to pick up a legends jersey when I got out to Philly in September but no need to now as I already have one.

B-West = Legend!

Good luck in whatever you decide to do Westy, I'll still follow your progress.

I wouldn't be surprised if he retires now to be honest, he does a lot of charity work so wouldn't mind betting he stops playing and concentrates on that side of things.

Maybe we should adopt the Chiefs as our team to follow this season on this thread ... ?

I drafted him in our fantasy draft.

Ignore the fact I dropped him after 3 weeks though :D

I did then trade Tashard Choice and D-Ware for him which helped my end of season run :lux:

You re-joining the Fantasy season this year?

Think we're having 2 leagues :lux:
