Indeed yes. I still can't get used to a John Fox team scoring that many points in a season, let alone a half, nor his QB stopping at a mere two turnovers

Matt Flynn what is he all about? Went to Seattle last year to be a starting QB and lost out to Wilson, moved on to the Raiders again to be a starter and now just backing up Terrelle Pryor.

He got beat our by Wilson and Pryor. Backup QB for his career.

One of his younger relatives goes to school in Coulsdon.

Not read what everyone else thought of yesterday but to be quite honest, it was boring. I loved seeing the 9ers in action and watching them absolutely run riot over the hapless Jags but once they went 28-0 up, I was bored. Ardeo left at the start of the 4th quarter and we weren't far behind him...did mean we breezed through the queues and was home in time to watch the 4th quarter of the Skins/Bronco's game.

Quality day out as normal, great to hang out with Ardeo and my family but seriously, the Jags are truly terrible.

Same feeling for me really, watching the 49ers in the first half was great fun but I was never going to be as invested as I was in the last game.

Glad they've gone back to a more similar gameplan to last year with Kaepernick. Looks a lot more comfortable.

Left with about 5mins left when the backups came in. It was crap, quite honestly. Considering not going next year and using the money for a trip to the US instead for a proper game.

Not even a backup in Oakland now, he got cut a few weeks ago I think.

Lions-Falcons should be good. Phins-Raiders too if they keep Pryor and invest. Who knows with the Jags. If they draft Bridgewater, they could be mildly interesting, or he will be ruined by that horrific Offensive Line.

Not that I've mentioned this to Gingerob yet but I have to take my sister to one and I think it right that I should bring my S.O to one too. Day out innit!

I went yesterday. Great entertainment, boring game.

Think Brian Orakpo will get some grief for this:

I have a possibly interesting question...

Manning could do absolutely anything he wanted to Orakpo there, and if a Bronco receiver had slid in and recovered the ball, would only have suffered a 10 yard penalty, despite Orakpo being the obvious favourite for the ball.

Basically, is a 10 yard penalty for a hold, a fair penalty when you are preventing an obvious turnover in play?

That's like those cases where a DB gets whooshed by a WR and tackles him to prevent a surefire TD but only gets a 5yd holding call if he does it before the ball is thrown.

He signed for Buffalo 2 weeks ago.

True, and I guess it's not a huge problem!

The biggest problem is Brandon Meriweather. He's going to take out people's ACLs instead of causing concussions.

Remove him from the game. He sucks anyway

CT_Palace 29-10-2013 02:22 AM

If only the Rams had an offense

7-1 with both Tackles out injured and Percy Harvin yet to play. Be interesting to see how it turns out.

Not yet, still learning the offence, apparently...

Maybe this week.
