Brett blew it. He could have gone for a run prior to his interception at the end of the 4th. I don't know whose mistake 12 man in the huddle was, just so careless. Still, a good game.

How about them Saints hey...

PalaceFan in Alabama 25-01-2010 04:21 AM

Being a Saints fan, I can honestly say they were bleeding lucky and the best team did not win.

sLlll 25-01-2010 04:23 AM

Indy will have it in the Superbowl on this performance. By 21 points I'm guessing.

sLlll 25-01-2010 04:25 AM

Brett will be back but I doubt he'll get to this stage ever again :sob:

sLlll 25-01-2010 04:26 AM

Congratulations Saints fans!

Could you post me some of what you are on :clown:

Edit: I think the Colts will be Favorite by 7 or 10 points, sorry that your Cowgirls failed

We are both wrong, what do we know! the US book has the Colts 3 1/2 fav

Hedgehog 25-01-2010 04:44 AM

OT in the NFL is the equivalent of the penalty shoot out at the end of a major football tournament IMHO.

sLlll 25-01-2010 04:45 AM

The Sky commentator said NO are going to be taken to the cleaners. He's right :D

Put your money on New Orleans, then :D

oz_da II 25-01-2010 05:27 AM

Nice job, Childress.

The Vikings would do well to give Jim Zorn a call during the off season.

Now only four teams have never been to the Super Bowl.

Browns, Lions, Jags and Texans.

Who of those four will be next?

Oisin 25-01-2010 07:08 AM

Sad to see the Jets go out, the fairytale ends

oz_da II 25-01-2010 07:15 AM

Try telling Fluffy that. :D

Manning and the Colts a different kettle of fish IMO. Still the NFL is an open league and if Indy bottle it like the Vikes did, it will be New Orleans game.

Struggled into work. 2 and a half hours sleep. Great game, I'll recover by tomorrow :D

Swanny32 25-01-2010 12:15 PM

I feel like death! I really shouldn't have stayed up for that game. Stupid OT!! Why couldn't Brett just run the 10 yards he had in front of him, send out Longwell and win the game at 3am rather than dicking around, throwing a pick and sending it to OT. Has he retired again yet?

pauldrulez 25-01-2010 12:22 PM

I'm at 35-28.

2 winners from this game so far.

1) Chris Johnson. Peterson isn't even close to him because of his fumbling issues.

2) Brett Favre's autobiography.

How he is still in the game is beyond me.
