We've taken some players I liked for the Pats.

The OC wants to incorporate the TE more in the Offense.

2 weeks ago, we had no TE's. Now we have Crumpler (blocking), Hernandez (receiving) and Gronkowski (all-round).

Looks much healthier.

Dammit. Wanted AJ Edds to compete at SAM for us next year. Dolphins get him. Good fit especially with the Pats loaded at TE now.

pauldrulez 24-04-2010 05:17 PM

3 picks out of next 5 for Andy Reid.

He's returned to the war room from McDonalds.

SteveyHawking 24-04-2010 05:22 PM

Another weakside linebacker in Keenan Clayton. Missed out on Edds if you ask me.

Mike Kafka is a good pick at QB. Decent fit in our West coast offense. Still need depth on the OL.

pauldrulez 24-04-2010 05:25 PM

There goes my QB.

Mike Kafka to the Eagles.

A round or two early, but good backup/developmental QB behind Kolb.

SteveyHawking 24-04-2010 05:37 PM

Now picked up TE Clay Harbor. Quality name. Supposed to be a decent pass catcher so he'll provide good depth.

Ricky Sapp in round 5 is a good pick even though he is another DE. Injury issues aside he's the best player left in the draft.

pauldrulez 24-04-2010 06:24 PM

His injury was bad though. Plus his knee issues are why he's dropped almost 4 rounds.

Leon Washington traded to Seahawks.

Anyone fancy rounding up last nights draft for me? Just got in from a long day and really not in the mood to read through. All I will say is that it is a very relieving day after weeks of worry and concern ... and spent the afternoon in a beer garden. Well deserved.

Seahawks have improved no end after the draft.

Biggest news was Clausen dropping to #48 and being picked up by the Panthers. Colt McCoy went to the Browns at #85.

Griffen, Campbell & Wootton dropped out to the 4th round.

Cowboys picked up Sean Lee at LB which is a good pick.

SteveyHawking 24-04-2010 06:38 PM

Raiders talking to Redskins about Jason Campbell trade.

Great thanks fella. Two bog QB picks there then which are interesting ... don't know much about the guy we have picked up but it's a need that's for sure ... :p

Welcome to New England, Zoltan.

SteveyHawking 24-04-2010 07:14 PM

Thought we might draft Matt Tennant but the Saints get him before us. With Jackson out injured Center is something we need to look at.

SteveyHawking 24-04-2010 07:16 PM

Riley Cooper at WR. Decent red zone threat at 6' 3" which is something we lack. Not bad.

SteveyHawking 24-04-2010 07:21 PM

Jason Campbell has now been traded to the Raiders. Anyone better than stinky JeMarcus.

pauldrulez 24-04-2010 07:28 PM

Not good for our first rounder next year. They could go 8-8 with Campbell.

jazman 24-04-2010 07:37 PM

Agree Paul, they could do okay with Campbell.
