ESPN draft grades.

The Eagles' story of the draft was how we turned a second round pick into five picks and a pick in 2011.

That, my friends, is the definition of "putting on a clinic." One late 2 yielded 5 players and a pick in 2011. Simply amazing. This of course won't be the story of the 2010 draft, but it should be.

So, if you want to nitpick this player or that player, and foolishly throw out some mediocre draft grade because "Player X was a reach," or "We didn't draft X position early enough," I urge you to first take a deep breath, look at this utter mastery of how to flat out control the NFL draft, and reconsider.

I applaud Andy Reid and Howie Roseman. This was a work of art.

We turned a 5th round pick into a 2nd rounder next year, using 3 trades.

We started the weekend with: 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 6th, 7th, 7th, 7th, 7th, 7th.

We ended the weekend with: 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 7th, 7th, 7th. And we picked up a 2nd rounder for next year.

We basically traded a 6th and a 7th for a 2010 3rd, 2010 5th and 2011 2nd.

I think the Seahawks had the best weekend overall. Picked up 3 upgrades in Trades and then selected some quality players. If Whitehurst works out, they'll win the NFC West easily.

Not sure Paul, but I just briefly read a piece on NFL.com and it only spoke about Clausen and Pike, so you could be right!

I like Pike. He looked good in the brief bits that I saw of Cincinnati.

Edwards is an athlete.

And Clausen could be great, could be a bust. Gruden destroyed him in his QB Camp on ESPN.

Am I the only one hoping that Tebow is the starter by the time the Broncos get over here? Would like to see him play.

So we acquired a 6'3" wide receiver who is a RZ threat because of his height. Which got me thinking, why don't teams sign 7"+ players (with no basketball ability) and use them as RZ WRs?
