7 new rule changes put forward, only two really of note though

Chiefs have put forward a proposal that in OT both teams are to have the ball on offence even if the first team scores a TD. Widely expected to be put forward an unsurprising to be the Chiefs proposal after their loss to Pats

Broncos have put forward a proposal for a change in Quarter 4, when each team would have 1 chance to change a kick off after a score, to an offensive play where they have a single down to achieve 15 yards. They would play off from their own 35. (Something similar is happening in this new league this year although slightly different to this proposal)

That is sort of the Greg Schiano suggestion. Instead of a kickoff after a score, the team that scored has a 4th and 15 from their own 35. They would choose the punt 99% of the time except when they would normally go with an onside kick. As much as the NFL seems desperate to ruin kickoffs even more this would seem a good replacement.

Wtf, the Browns have traded for OBJ

LLCOOLSTEVE 13-03-2019 01:45 AM

I just came to post that

Jeez!

LLCOOLSTEVE 13-03-2019 01:50 AM

2019 1st round pick, a 3rd round pick and Jabril Peppers

Icy 13-03-2019 09:27 AM

Will the Browns finally have a playoff season.

Jets pick up Bell on the same day the Giants hand OBJ to the Browns.

I can't imagine this move will be well received in NYC by the Blue part of the city.

This season, who knows but I wouldnt be backing against them. Looking at their roster, they are building a great side for the coming seasons.

Baker - 23
Nick Chubb - 26
Odell Beckham - 26
Javis Landry - 26
David Njoku - 22

Defence:
Myles Garrett 23
Denzel Ward 21

Through in later this season or next a 23/24 year old Kareem Hunt....

This is downright weird. One team signs a player custom made for them and one throws away the player they should be customising around.

Kareem Hunt suspended for the first 8 games of the season after signing a 1yr deal at Browns

LLCOOLSTEVE 17-03-2019 06:45 PM

Seems to be a lot more trades/moves going in this year...

Beckenham Boy 18-03-2019 12:03 PM

Thought it would be harsher than this tbh. A good onfield move for the Browns

He might not even enter next years draft though

I'd be amazed if he doesn't

With Trevor Lawrence due out in 2021, you would imagine Tua will want to take the opportunity to go first overall next year (providing a QB needy team has the first pick).

GB2506 24-03-2019 11:19 PM

Gronk confirms retirement. Going to be a really interesting draft for the Pats, we have some serious needs, TE, WR, DL. Good job we have plenty of picks.

greybot 10-04-2019 03:28 PM

Eagles @ Jags pre-season then. Be nice to see Foles v Wentz to put an end to the 'who is the better Quarterback Debate" once and for all :D
