Rumours swirling about a possible Russell Wilson move (Giants mentioned) because he hasn't signed a new contract. Can't see it myself = Seahawks will just use the franchise tag to hold him if he won't agree to a deal.

Franchise tags are toxic. All they do is piss players off so they don’t play at their best & normally end up moving anyway.

Seahawks agree deal with Russel Wilson. $140mill over 4 years. Wowzers.

Go my name in the hat for these two. Good to see the Raiders in London and Jacksonville might as well move here.

That's just bonkers. He's still good but nowhere near that good. Plus he will get injured. Guaranteed.

Thoughts on tonights trade. Expect Arizona will trade for Murray though cant say will be too happy if we do. Our judgement on QBs was way off last year (Baker, Josh Allen, even Lamar jackson looking better picks) so dont trust us not to muck it up again.

Bosa for me is the clear standout pick though Noah Fant is of interest to me. Have him as the best Tight End and with the role of TE's now, could be valuable. Patriots would love him to fall to him though at 32 I wouldnt expect it.

Some good offensive linemen for the Vikings please. That’s the missing piece at the moment which stops us being proper super bowl contenders (Cousins is okay imo, just needs more help).

davematt 25-04-2019 03:40 PM

Providing the Cardinals take Murray, that leaves us with the chance to pick up Bosa, which is the perfect scenario for the Niners.

Dee Ford and Nick Bosa off the edge on either side?:eek:

LLCOOLSTEVE 26-04-2019 02:39 AM

Just not sure about Murray with the 1 pick... do the A’s get back his signing bonus?!

LLCOOLSTEVE 26-04-2019 03:03 AM

Giants take a QB in Daniel Jones

Interesting, they were keen on Trading for Josh Rosen

LLCOOLSTEVE 26-04-2019 03:55 AM

Montez Sweat please Panthers

LLCOOLSTEVE 26-04-2019 04:05 AM

ok, edge rusher taken but not my choice.....

He paid it back already...

I'm over the moon how it all played out for the Niners.

In most drafts, Nick Bosa wouldn't get past 1st overall.

He was the Number One player on pretty much everyone's board.

But thankfully Murray decided to chose football over Baseball and it just happened to be in the same year Kliff Kingsbury become a Head Coach and had the chance to pick him with the first pick.

I look at our defensive front now and I'm pretty confident putting it up there against anyone's in the NFL. Nick Bosa and Dee Ford off the edge either side could be devastating and DeForest Buckner coming through the middle.

Now we really need to get some additional help in the secondary and get Jimmy G some speedy weapons on the outside.

Aaannddd a solid start to that with Garrett Bradbury.

aj4england 26-04-2019 01:29 PM

As expected, but cant sat I am happy with the Cardinals pick.

Murray, has undeniable talent, but the same was said about Rosen. Much like the issue with Rosen this season, in a division where the Rams have the best pass rusher, 49ers now have Ford and Bosa, and even the Seahawks have strengthend, we have 2 decent WRs but decent a best in Fitz and Kirk and Johnson who lost his way due to an awful scheme last year.

Denver have got a good player here.
