Strathclyde Eagle 16-12-2008 03:38 PM

There are a few writers (among them Mike Lombardi) who think Pittsburgh might benefit from going on the road, just because of the state of the turf at Heinz Field.

Oops. I got all confused for a second there. It was the Jets playing the Bills .. ;)

Well done, very clever. :lux:

The greatest play of the season. Love it

That said, I still don't get how the Jets are favourites for the AFC East

They lose this week at Seattle and maybe beat Miami but it'll be irrelevant as New England will win 2/2.

I spent my first 3.5 hours at work today listening to the Chargers Radio commentary today. Josh Lewin and Hank Bauer always worth listening to even when you know the outcome but what got me was that even down by 11 with under 2 to play they still had urgency in their voices that suggested it could be done.

If you subscribe to Field Pass, defo worth listening to this game.....and the last 5 mins of the Jets game :D

Screw it, dont hate me if i'm wrong.

I'll go for Justin Tuck.

21-7 Pats. I can still win my bet.

Its so open this year, so open...

I think the biggest irony is that the team who've made this season so great are having such a miserable season.

Please take a bow for the single biggest play of teh season

KANSAS FOR INJURING TOM BRADY.

KANSAS FOR INJURING TOM BRADY.

I was thinking more Cassel to Moss who was being held by Ty Law but caught it diving backwards.

What are up with most of these choices?

One vote for Welker?
Reggie f'ing Wayne?
A vote for Worthlessberger?
A vote for Tomlinson?
Only one 4th place vote for Calvin Johnson?
4 votes for Dallas Clark but only one for Daniels.
Mayo vs Farrior for 2nd ILB.
Chris Cooley? average this year. I should know he's in my Fantasy team.
One vote for Matt Bryant.

Lots of stupid voting there.

ProBowl teams announced at 4pm E.T/9pm UK time on NFL Network.

Online Link/SKY link anyone?

Benzhiyi 16-12-2008 08:34 PM

Welker has two touchdowns all season Paul.

You're right on Cooley, though.

pauldrulez 16-12-2008 08:44 PM

He has over 100 receptions and biggest YAC in the league.

pauldrulez 16-12-2008 08:45 PM

Based on that, Moss should be in the team straight out

pauldrulez 16-12-2008 08:50 PM

He is 8th in yardage and 3rd in the AFC.

Huge YAC. Big contributor to the team. Broke the record for 6 receptions per match in a row and could have gone further without the hit against Pittsburgh.

Jets wont lose to Seattle, the entire O line for the Seahawks is now on IR so all the back ups are in, they even have a player from the practise squad playing at LT this week, so the Jets could rack up a few sacks this weekend. :hmph:

pauldrulez 16-12-2008 09:36 PM

Anyone have a clue how to watch NFL Network, either online or on SKY "il"legally.

I want to watch the Pro Bowl selection show.

pauldrulez 16-12-2008 10:06 PM

Congratulations to Wes Welker and Stephen Gostkowski who have been nominated for the 2009 Pro Bowl.

Latvian Eagle 16-12-2008 10:10 PM

Gross, Smith, Peppers, and Beason made it! :lux:

pauldrulez 16-12-2008 10:21 PM

I'm disappointed by no Mankins at Guard, must be 4th in position for that spot and was rated high by analysts and fans :(

And Mayo, well if it was a 3-4 Defense he would have been the 3rd ILB in the squad.

Moss and Light didn't do enough this year.

And Cassel couldn't have been far off the top 5 QBs. So when Favre pulls out ;)

pauldrulez 16-12-2008 10:22 PM

And I'll tell you what.

That AFC Defense, thats one team I would not want to come up against

Talk about losing your head :D
