I see Palace are advertising learning American Football skills at the friendly on friday night, I doubt hardly anyone will be there though. On another note Luol Deng of the Bulls is going to be there, Tony.

Guess where I'm not tonight. :sob:

That was an ass kicking, last night. Peyton's good.

indeed, glad i went with my head and not heart by picking the colts.

absolutely turded on them. Puts a spanner in a lot of peoples works who said that the colts would struggle to do well this year

Nookie and I had the first half of our sports double header last night, Red Sox @ Orioles over at Camden Yards.

The Red Sox are supposed to be the best team in baseball. Wouldn't you know it: I go see them for the first time and they do an admirable impression of Crystal Palace, making silly errors in the field, pitching terribly, and allowing some Oriole Cookie who'd never managed an MLB hit before to cream a grand slam off Matzusaka (who was shocking, by the way). Final score 11-5, though Nookie - who's taken to supporting B'more to spite me - was happy.

Off to Dophins @ Redskins for some tailgateage in about an hour. Come on Miami!

Sooooooooooooooooo jealous.

I'll keep an eye out for you tonight.

Fins game on the interactive Sky coverage.

Looks like a great day in DC. To say I'm envious of Ben and Nookiebear right now is an understatement.

Perhaps more so of Nookiebear. The Fins have just gone three and out on their first series.

Strathclyde Eagle 09-09-2007 07:09 PM

Interception... and a high-five from my daughter. :lux:

Strathclyde Eagle 09-09-2007 07:22 PM

Please ignore my post on the previous page about how good the Fins might be and how Wes Welker doesn't score many touchdowns. :clown:

jlmatthews 09-09-2007 07:54 PM

And at this point... 50% of people in fantasy footall are just realizing they drafted a shit team. :)

You're making your daughter watch the fins? She'll be scarred for life!!!! ;)

elliott 09-09-2007 07:58 PM

Worst game ever...

She's been wearing Palace sleepsuits since birth, she's scarred already.

Interesting that Saban's two #1 picks are getting limited time. Ronnie Brown seems to be mainly backing up Jesse Chatman, while Jason Allen's slipped as far down to just be the gunner on punt coverage.

BTW, why did we let Jones go? He was probably my favourite ever punter.

jlmatthews 09-09-2007 08:07 PM

You have a QB from Indiana University. What do you expect? Surely not points?

You know, when OJ Simpson took that now famous ride in the white Bronco, he was heading to Bloomington, Indiana.... to Indiana University, because no one would ever look for a football player there.

jlmatthews 09-09-2007 08:09 PM

Is Ginn returning punts or anything?

elliott 09-09-2007 08:11 PM

Yeh.

With chatman on kicks too.

Jason Allen is not very good.

And I liked Jones too. He had character (and a few unnesc roughness penalties)

Strathclyde Eagle 09-09-2007 08:12 PM

Who put together that Auburn roomates thing? Chatman went to Eastern Washington!
