Jaz, don't come on here today. :(

Lots of unhappy AFC East fans today.

Useless :moo:girls.

I was right in everything I said about them.

Just because he had a shit game doesn't mean he's not a nice guy. You were
singing his praises a few weeks back. A poor performance shouldn't effect that.

pauldrulez 21-12-2008 12:31 PM

Apart from the fact that we now have to rely on the Chiefs, Seahawks and Jags.

Marvellous...

jazman 21-12-2008 12:43 PM

You shouldn't have to rely on other teams I've always said ...

Latvian Eagle 21-12-2008 12:45 PM

Dallas were diabolical from what I saw!

I fell asleep about a minute into the 4th quarter which was 16-7 at the time... When I woke up to see the score this morning it sounds like I missed the best part of the whole game! :o

Latvian Eagle 21-12-2008 12:46 PM

Oh and my two favourite plays...

The Flacco fake end around running play where he ran about 20 yards to trick the Dallas D, and the Koch (how is this Cook, and not Cock btw?) fake fg play.

jazman 21-12-2008 12:47 PM

Yep. You got it Latvian. I thought the D at least tried to get something doing for us but its not just down to them ...

Latvian Eagle 21-12-2008 12:49 PM

Dallas' problem is the fact they're a team of individuals...

The QB doesn't like the WR's, the WR's don't like the TE and the TE has his cock lodged in the QB's back side! Only ones getting it done on the Offensive side of the ball are the RB's at the moment.

I thought Baltimore were in for a rough night when Flacco got sacked like 5 times in the first half.

Well you try and play a season with Brooks Bollinger as your QB and say that.

Our season comes down to 3 plays (now 5 plays)
1) 3rd and 15 after toss of a coin
2) Gaffney drops the TD vs Colts
3) Brady...
4) 77yd TD run
5) 80+ TD run.

And I would like to congratulate the Detroit Lions on the greatest play of their season.

Roy Williams - 1st, 3rd and 6th round picks.

Can we have a 1st for 2010 for Jabar Gaffney?

I'm going to drown my sorrows, pray for 3 teams to win over the next 2 weeks, the Pats winning out, Atlanta, Philly and the Bucs to win today and Bernard Pollard to hurt Pennington.

I have already been banned from one forum today for a comment on TO, which I wont repeat although I still believe it. :grrr:

For the first 3 quarters they were very good.

Then the two TD runs in the last 3 minutes...

They need to kick Romo out of throwing it up in the air.

Deion Sanders knew he was lobbing it up there and said there will be another one soon enough. And there was.

Latvian Eagle 21-12-2008 12:55 PM

TO = Dickhead pure and simple!

You can only come back stronger next year anyway Paul. The worrying thing as far as the AFC is concerned is that I can see Steelers making the Superbowl, and they are so f***ing dull to watch! :sob:

pauldrulez 21-12-2008 01:03 PM

I'd like your Panthers to win the Superbowl.

I like their approach to the game, run, run, run some more. And then you have got Steve Smith who is one of the best Receivers in the NFL.

pauldrulez 21-12-2008 01:04 PM

Oh, and if by a one in a million chance, the Pats make the playoffs, I reckon we'll win them as thats the way we do it.

And in my 5 plays of the year that have cost the Pats.

Remove Brady from it and add in JP Loseman instead.

Latvian Eagle 21-12-2008 01:10 PM

Our offence is significantly better this year... And that's due to two things...

1. Jake Delhomme back from injury. He's the leader of this team and it was clear last year that the team just didn't know what they were doing without him.

2. Rearranging the running game. Promoting Williams to starter as I had said we should all last season, getting rid of Foster and bringing in Stewart.

I think we have as good a chance as anyone of winning it this year. It's wide open. The favourites are starting to falter and a few outsiders are satrting to creep in. I can see Philli sneaking into the play offs but 3 weeks ago they looked dead.

We ideally need Home Field Advantage though! We're 8-0 at home but 3-3 on the road.

Couldn't agree more. Shone through last night for sure.

Paul, what I meant is that you should expect a team to the job and make the play offs. themselves as its always a complete lottery when you have to rely on other teams. Let's face it, the Cowboys simply aren't good enough this season and it looks very much like the Pats aren't either ...

jazman 21-12-2008 01:21 PM

At least I can enjoy the post season without any stress ... :D

Latvian Eagle 21-12-2008 01:34 PM

I know I'm ever so slightly biased... :o But I'm going to put my play of the season down as Jake Delhomme's through the eye of a needle pass in the Week 1 opener at San Diego to win with the last play! :lux: Set the season off nicely!

Paul, I have no reason not to be on here today. I've always been a fair fan, never biased towards my team, simply enjoying the action. I feel you can do that in NFL whereas you can't with football.

Don't get me wrong, I am GUTTED about the result. We could still make it if results go our way today but and a result in Philly isn't beyond us. I just think that the QB position has let us down this season. If we make it to the play offs we'd be kidding ourselves.

Big congrats to the Ravens :p

Fair play. :p

We don't need to pray for 3 teams to win, just two as long as we win out.

If both the Jets and the Phins win today then we are all but screwed though.

jlmatthews 21-12-2008 04:59 PM

Come on Atlanta. Please, please, please, please come on Atlanta!

pauldrulez 21-12-2008 05:31 PM

Also Saxon, if the Jags win next week. We only need to win out.
