EDIT. Actually I take back what I said above and apologize. I dont want to fight continuously, and I dont want to be nasty to anyone. Sometimes events get ahead of us and I know am very far from perfect. We have different ideals but perhaps that comes from the differing environments we inhabit. I hope you take this in the spirit it is intended |

I will watch more of this round Britain travel show if I can catch it when it is :jerkit:on. I will wait for the hetro white male presenter to host an episode. I am aware that a good amount of this kind of telly is presented by exactly that kind of profile...but it doesn't mean that the BBC needs to compensate for all other failings. I guess I can file it in the same drawer as the Áfrican Footballer Awards...and their ridiculously commissioned and skewed Workplace articles. |

My point is...is diversity only acceptable if it is acceptable diversity that is not actually diverse. |

I feel the last year or so has seen a real knee jerk reaction from certain oeganisations in an attempt to correct injusticies. The clearest is the massive foot in the mouth BAFTA lifetime achievement award....I thought that was premature regardless of the scandal. I am also not your BBS enemy Timbo. Why would people want to be in a clique. It is very possible to have a view that racism is aborrent but overly pushing diversity is also wrong. I feel questioning that is neither being a Dick or being narrow minded. More the opposite. Being narrow minded is not even questioning things because you are scared of being on the wrong side of the debate. |

HMRC would have sufficed in the annoyance charts tbh |

Why have people got denser during 'lockdown'. I admit I have to see more shows....but I guess the time of the Michael Palin type of TV traveller is coming to an end. At least for any 45 year old + white bloke (the source of all the world's problems) who fancies working for the BBC or The Guardián....personally I would call that exclusión. |

You should retract that...I we can all just see you as a la Iiar on here. I thought the guy in question was great. I made an effortto tune in the next week expecting it to be the same presenter. I was disappointed it wasn't. My observation was that the next presenter on the rotation, using the same vehicle, was also a minority. What are the odds that that is just casual chance with the population breakdown in the UK. I am not advocating that the BBC commission Bernard Manning or Charlton Jim to do an episode....but I would be interested in their line up of presenters. |

You are slandering my character in your post and suggesting to the feeble minded on here that I am a racist. That is very naughty on your part. And makes you a liar. A conniving liar. Because you know very well what you are doing. It means you are dishonest. All because someone, Me, dares to suggest that certain media channels are perhaps pushing the woke ideal too far. That doesn't mean I am offended by it. I won't avoid the programmes and look forward to more of the presenter. If you can't have a grown up conversación about this without being a snide - why bother postíng - are you waiting for cavalry to show up? |

I will dip in tomorrow. Just to see how Mr Maztastics ideal world mind works.
Not very well coming into his dotage years. Pandemic has been tough. How can you be so spot on on some subjects, but soft in the head on others. That's narrow mindedness - only your view is right. I looked up the Travel Show presenters on wiki...and the senior whitey is described as a Guru. Couldn't find the coming out of pandemic UK shows...Just waste of time 4 minute overseas programmes. |

I’m right ; the consolation you can take is that I twice mentioned that such racist thinking was most unlike you. It’s possibly just an ‘episode’. . |
Andrew Lloyd Webber being a pathetic drama queen (on a BBC news report now) moaning about theatres not being able to open up and claiming “theatres are the life blood of towns and cities”.

It has to cover every item of food completely, with an overflow reservoir on the plate, preferably with some left in reserve on the table. Roast dinners with communal gravy boats are a psychological minefield for me, as I monitor everyone's gravy usage, calculating how much will be left by the time it gets to me. If I'm near the front of the line, I'm faced with the choice of ******* up everyone else's gravy allocation at the expense of safeguarding my own gravy requirements, or altruistically scaling back my gravy usage to socially acceptable levels, but to the detriment of my meal. I usually choose to **** up everyone else's gravy allocation. |

And I call you on it. 'episode' is patronising. So you are a patronising, arrogant, snidey liar. Me, mentioning that I think the BBC is trying far too hard to tick boxes is not me having racist thoughts. It's in everything the BBC do. Such as, the pushing of female commentators and pundits for male football. But, just the ones easy on the eye. Although I am very impressed on how 'woke' this list seems to be... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct...ral_of_the_BBC I am thinking you could call the whole organisation a top down bunch of hypocrites. Maybe a protest is due like the voting members of the Golden Globes. I am happy to see a gay James Bond and a black female Doctor Who. Much of the stuff I watch is non-white stories - I have Ma Rainey and Small Axe downloaded to get through, and even that Kidhulthood stuff despite the honoured twat being a sex pest. As I say, it is you being narrow minded if you are not even willing to see there are issues here. Not even open your mind to there being issues, but quick to throw your snide barbs about. |

Fella from British Gas (apparently) calls me about a complaint I had made earlier that day. I had asked that they e-mail me, not call me.
Him : I need to ask you a few security questions so you can prove who you are Me : There are a lot of scams going on, you first need to prove that you are from British Gas. Him : I just stated I'm from British Gas Me : And I can similarly state that I am who you want to speak to Him : That's not how it works for us Me : Yeah, same for me, mate. ******* dickhead. |
Nice one. Sticking it to the man.

Yeah, I know. They have dicked me around so much, I was happy to be obtuse. But he didn’t seem to even understand the point I was making, that according to ‘his rules’ any old stranger could call me & expect me to provide him with loads of information whilst he could simply state ‘I’m from British Gas’ & I should believe him. |

Olympics Opening Ceremonies: Competitors, leave your mobile 'phones in your pockets or the changing rooms. Any videos you take on them whilst you are supposed to the be object of the global audience's attentions are bound to be a bit rubbish, and you'll probably never watch them again. Just buy a DVD of the ceremony to remember it by.
