They look fired up now.

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:12 PM

Guess who took Palmer out of one of his teams in a Fantasy League today.

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:14 PM

Fek, Fitzgerad just scored for the Cards...

He's been sacked 6 times today!

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:15 PM

I think AP is out the game in Minnesota :(

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:16 PM

I turned it over and saw him complete a 20odd yarder to T.J Whoseyourmamma.

Then he had two passes for -7 yards and then got sacked.

I'm a curse.

Go Larry.

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:16 PM

For f*ck sake...

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:18 PM

You should hammer me this week, Paul barring StL putting up 35 points like the f*cking Fins have...

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:18 PM

••••••• USELESS WANKERS.

I have turned it off, there is now a dent in the side of the laptop screen and all because I looked at NFL.com for some other scores.

I do hope that Belichick landed on his head this morning because some of the things that have either been called or he has said just havent made sense today. Senile old bastard

It's all about Ronnie B!

:hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi:

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:21 PM

You can't blame BB. They've direct snapped to Brown 6 or 7 times now and he's scored off 5 of them, including one f*cking pass play. You can put the players out but they have to wake up to that kind of sh*t - once you can understand but not 5 scores from the same play.

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:22 PM

Well, at least I was realistic and humble and won't have to put up with all the sh*t Paul is going to get all week ;)

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:22 PM

True.

I even noticed that Pennington was out there again. Are they blind, stupid or just not intelligent enough to call a Timeout which we wont need anyway the way we are playing. 3 TDS and a FG needed as well as a couple of onside recovers and probably 2pt conversions.

I give up with sports this weekend I really do.

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:22 PM

AP back on, LJ making yards... I just need Plaxico to get something and NE to make one or two stops, even a sack would be nice :D

I'll just do work for once, the Pats website I help run is going to need some serious editing I think :D

I will just blank this thread until Week 5 after the game (yeah right)

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:25 PM

Holding brings back an AP first down. That's the third I've seen today. You're costing me Vikes OL... :clown:

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:26 PM

I have a positive for you Saxon.

Jerod Mayo.

Leading in tackles again this week, also had high unassisted tackles the last 2 weeks.

Rookie of the Year I tellsya.

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:26 PM

Now Taylor scored and another holding takes the Vikes further back! :clown:

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:28 PM

Paul - 35 points against last years worst team. There are no positives.

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:30 PM

And my bench racks up points while my starters fail...

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:30 PM

Yeah there is, we get a higher draft pick with every loss.

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:34 PM

McFadden for Moss might have been a good choice for me, it was a change that I considered.

It was either Sproles, Moss, McFadden or Felix Jones for the R/W spot but I left it on a Pats insiders' advice. Arsehole

That ranks quite highly in your list of "stupid things I post on the BBS", and trust me, it has plenty of competition.

jlmatthews 21-09-2008 09:36 PM

Orton much better in the second half.

Bears lookin' good

:lux: :lux:

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:37 PM

Miami nearing 400 yds, we are nearing 200 just.

Give O'Connell some reps BB, we may need him.

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:38 PM

A break for KC recovering a muffed punt.

I love the word "muffed". :D

You asked for a positive and you got a positive.

Every loss puts us closer to Maualuga (sp), but I would obviously rather not have him and have a SB.

We have injuries to deal with and it must be plugged, they luckily have the Bye to sort it out.

Another positive.

Only a Field Goal this time. :hmph:

Can't believe a mate of mine chose to phone me tonight, of all the nights! Was great to speak to him, just the timing could have been better.

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:42 PM

O'Connell in thankfully

Shock of all shocks.

COMPLETES A PASS

Strathclyde Eagle 21-09-2008 09:42 PM

Ben's fantasy opponent this week has Ronnie Brown at RB. :D

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:43 PM

I really must not look at my FF teams. Takes out Palmer puts in Cassel, what a moron.

O'Connell 2 for 2 for 16 and then sacked by jackass Porter

Strathclyde Eagle 21-09-2008 09:46 PM

I want Oakland to get a winning streak, just so something ridiculous happens like Kiffin getting fired when the Raiders are 10-2. :D

(Gleefully happy. Honestly didn't expect this.)

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:46 PM

Henne in after 4 and out.

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:46 PM

Giants losing :D

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:47 PM

Ooh,

I have thought of another positive.

Every point now takes off points from Saxon in the FF league.

RDSdaEAGLE 21-09-2008 09:48 PM

JaMarcus Russell has thrown one pass for 7 yards in the second half :D

They just scored a TD. 22-14 up.

You've only just noticed that? Thankfully, our return yards are keeping my team going!

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 09:52 PM

Miami win :(

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:52 PM

Well I had noticed it ages ago but thought not to push it when we still had a slight chance.

Whereas we have had 2 fair catches from Faulk in the last 2.

I want a Moss throw to Welker for a 98yd TD :D

That would push you to breaking point;)

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:53 PM

Ah well.

Theres always 09 ;)

jlmatthews 21-09-2008 09:54 PM

Giants winning

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 09:54 PM

And not to Burress :lux:

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 10:05 PM

Excellent by the Bungals.

I think I picked the Giants in the survival pool, find out who Ben picked please Straths.

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 10:07 PM

Going to watch OT and move onto the Steelers who were my pick for the AFC behind the Brady Patriots.

jlmatthews 21-09-2008 10:07 PM

Bears in OT. Bucs scored twice in the last couple minutes :(

jlmatthews 21-09-2008 10:08 PM

And we lose the toss :(

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 10:08 PM

Jones-Drew and Holmes need to do me something big this afternoon. I want Denver to win but I hope for an average game for Cutler, too!

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 10:10 PM

I need some points from Jacobs.

Also the Seahawks not to be awful against the Rams.

Then the Cutler-Scheffler partnership hopefully.

Damn, Burress with a catch.

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 10:11 PM

Holy Hell.

The NYG kicker in his 23rd season. He looks like a right mental old git.

RDSdaEAGLE 21-09-2008 10:17 PM

Not surprised by the Raiders losing in the last few minutes. Not sure what they were thinking about in terms of their clock management.

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 10:17 PM

Cutler TD

Burress gets a pass.

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 10:22 PM

NYG in the 5 and going for FG.

Bungals Timeout

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 10:23 PM

Giants win.

I think I survive in the Survival pick game as well :)

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 10:27 PM

Couple of OT catches from Plaxico helped out :)

jlmatthews 21-09-2008 10:28 PM

So a TB player punches a bear. Bears retaliate. Bears get penalized. It's always the second one that gets caught. So pissed off right now. Gave them an automatic 1st down when they would have had to punt from their own 10

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 10:30 PM

Chi Bears game seems like a good'un.

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 10:31 PM

The lesson is never retaliate, which I never learn about whether on the Internet or in real life.

jlmatthews 21-09-2008 10:33 PM

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 10:37 PM

2 on the road victories, havent even got to the 3 I thought.

Bucs looked good against the bad-performing Pats in preseason, should have stuck with saying they would be a Playoff team rather than turning attention to Cassel.

This must be like a comedown for a drug addict, realising just how bad they played today against a team that went 1-15 last year, have lost their best player but gained a QB.

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 10:42 PM

TOUCHDOWN JAY CUTLER,

Play reversed after first being ruled incomplete.

I predict Rivers to throw 3 or 4 vs the Jets tomorrow so Cutler can keep it coming.

I'll win this matchup in the TE battle, I think. I'm not sure why you dropped Shockey.

Rams have scored :D:D:D

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 10:51 PM

Denver score! Cutler was on the sidelines as the D made a play. That's we want. Go Broncos!

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 10:52 PM

I preferred Scheffler as he was Cutlers favourite :)

Plus they have the Chiefs next week so nice to have him.

21-3 to the Broncos, as said last week a real dark horse

Not a dark horse, you'll note I picked them to make a good run at the start of the season and picked Cutler as my 3rd year breakout QB ;)

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 10:57 PM

Sounds like Ravens just got a bizarre safety. Flacco hand off to McGahee who does the flea-flicker back to Flacco. Pass picked off at the goal line and the guy runs back into the endzone where he is tackled for a safety!

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 10:58 PM

Oh, no... now NFL.com has changed and it says the INT was already taken behind the goal line so it was just a touchback... ignore the above :D

davematt 21-09-2008 11:01 PM

I am flicking between the Bronco's game and the Eagles game.

Got in about 25 minutes ago and straight away saw the Pats/Dolphins score :D

Er, Paul, you slashed your wrists yet?!

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 11:03 PM

I completely understand what you said saxon ;)

Flacco or Ryan was the other argument that was posted, I didnt rate Ryan even though he was so great for the Eagles.

12/18 for 190odd with 1 TD for Ryan and 15 rushing yards.

Flacco 8/10 for 83 but 2 INTs

pauldrulez 21-09-2008 11:04 PM

Nah, no slashed wrists, just realised that without buying a Palace Season Ticket next year, I may be able to squeeze in an extra 3/4 days in the US and am hoping that I can get a couple of Pats games in should one be against a team relatively close to Boston/NY or somewhere like that.

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 11:15 PM

Jones-Drew over 100 yards already with a Cutler INT - you getting worried yet Paul?

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 11:15 PM

Oh, and Rams in the redzone - 6 points on the board!

jlmatthews 21-09-2008 11:16 PM

NO Denver quickly turning into a shoot out!!

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 11:25 PM

Shoot outs are fun... unless you have some fantasy interest!

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 11:26 PM

Asante just intercepted Big Ben - how we missed him today...

jlmatthews 21-09-2008 11:28 PM

I have Brees, Patton and Marshall.

Guy I'm playing has Cutler. I hope he throws to Marshall all day :D

Not being bottom of the AFC, The Dolphins must have a bloody nose from it all.

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 11:50 PM

And Paul is going to get pasted in the fantasy league too. After my slow start, I've got it nailed now... maybe ;)

saxoneagle 21-09-2008 11:53 PM

jazman left Brown on the bench! Brown got 47 points!

I didn't catch the first and some of the second quarter, but a total of 23 rushing yards for the Steelers at the start of the 3rd sounds very strange indeed.

saxoneagle 22-09-2008 12:09 AM
