Nah it's worse, one of those dodgy european football leagues who think they can compete with the English game.

Feely from 48 ;)

And he's most famous (at least here in America) for the "Do you believe in miracles" comment from the 1980 Men’s Olympic Hockey semi final match-up between USA and Russia (USSR).

Remember when Serie A was first shown on Channel 4, and all the excitement that went with that? Then we learnt that the games are slow and low-scoring. Ugh. Would sooner watch conference games myself.

I agree with most of what you say ... it's all prima donnas and all that to be honest and has no match with the English and Spanish leagues ... but I made the decision to watch it and then flick over for the 2nd half of the Jets/Colts ...

pauldrulez 24-01-2010 10:28 PM

2 excellent catches by Austin Collie there.

The big play followed by the TD catch.

We're back in it.

(Oh I feel dirty)

Earthquake World Series.
Wide Right.
Hagler-Hearns.
1986 ALCS.

Lots more as well that I can't remember.

Spanish leagues I can watch. Especially when that tart is injured/suspended.

I have never liked Italian football, I remember watching the channel 4 coverage as a kid and being bored senseless.

You know, I have always found myself willing to like Italian football but it always flatters to decieve ... far too much rolling around and play acting for my liking, one thing I can't stand .. another reason for not signing up to ESPN. I enjoy Spanish football, can be similar at times but more of a likeness to English football ..

Swanny32 24-01-2010 10:38 PM

I'd give up the amount of football there is on sky sports at the moment for NFL Network!

peagle 24-01-2010 10:38 PM

No 2nd game for Wembley - DEFINITELY

Double edged sword for me though as I enjoy the cricket coverage on Sky as well ...

pauldrulez 24-01-2010 10:40 PM

Meh, not bothered about no 2nd game.

Will enjoy Niners-Broncos anyway.

jazman 24-01-2010 10:43 PM

Same here Paul. I wouldn't have gone to a 2nd game anyway ...
