I couldn't bring myself to a) suggest the Eagles could be champs next year if they do the right thing in teh close season and b) suggest that we could win even though I have a very good feeling about it .... however, our road trips are very tough indeed so that could be our downfall. You really do have to have a kind fixture list to get through in a season ... just look at the Dolphins last season compared to this ... not much of a difference in the roster other than some unfortunate injuries ...

Our schedule for next season is brutal home and away, we do have some winable games though, I just hope they are enough for us to make the playoffs. That being said, a lot changes from one season to the next.

Have they got rid of Romo?

Just a quick note, as most of you know my Wife and I are expecting our second child in June, we have started thinking about names for our new born son (confirmed it is a boy by gender scan) every name I like, Jayne doesn't like, every name Jayne like's, I don't like, so we started exploring different things that we like, to come up with names. I immediately started thinking of numerous players in the NFL, and started throwing names at my wife, starting with Philly of course, unfortunately Trent, DeSean and Asante don't really suit a white kid and all our white players have boring names! I then went further afield and looked at various other teams and after thinking of players from Cincy and San Fran I came to the new Champs, New Orleans Saints. So now, top of the list and the most likely name for our new born son in June is Drew. Finally a name we both agreed on! And I look forward to telling him one day who he is named after.

Can't have that, my bro (Bellyman on here) is called Philip.

How about Jon (Doronbos) Brent (Celek) :moo:

I predicted Bengals being most improved, that's got to be a winner surely?

Prediction for next year:

Winners: Ravens
Runners up: Cowboys
Most improved: Seahawks

I tipped the Bengals to do well this year as well.

49ers will do well next season but as they had a half decent season this year I don't think they will improve as much as the Redskins will. Seahawks just suck in general! :p

Jayne didn't like Brent although that did make her think of Bret which we both kind of liked, funnily enough at the time of us thinking of Bret I happened to be watching Bret Hart's return to wrestling.

Think we are set on Drew though. Keep the suggestions coming though.

Drew is good. I just hope your surname isn't Peacock.

(Actually, I know it isn't - I just wanted to make that joke :D)

Swanny32 09-02-2010 03:49 PM

Lol, Didn't someone actually call their kid that?

You tipped loads of teams, my tip is actually down in writing. Although god knows why i picked the Bungals before the draft.

I don't think the Seahawks can be as bad next year, and expecting good things from Forsett.

Mine is in writing somewhere as well, it's in one of the email conversations I had with Scotch at the start of the season as he was gloating about picking the Jets as his surprise package of 08/09 and then picked the Rams to be the surprise of 09/10. I went with the Bengals. It's in my sent items somewhere but I'll be damned if i'm looking through them all, there is about triple the amount of emails to him as there are to you Tom!

And I didn't "tip loads of teams", I said and stuck with the Bungals all along. You're just bitter that I smashed the granny out of you on Madden yesterday! :D Amateur!

You are mistaking Swanny for Paul and that is unforgivable in my book :o
