That would be superb getting Kampman in, disappointed that we aren't looking at Rolle though, we are in need of a FS and DE, nothing seems to be coming out of our camp regarding any of the free agency safeties.

Bears are making a real splash.

Chester Taylor (will give Forte a break at least).

Peppers (they unfortunately lost Gaines Adams and let Ogunleye go, I think).

After Rolle as well.

Fair point, they have no 1st/2nd round draft picks, so they have to go for players.

I'd like us to get re-signing some of our free agents. Faulk, Burgess, Bodden. The rest I don't mind (will have to re-check the list though)

Could always draft one high if you need.

Do you need a strong/free safety?

Ryan Clark may be a good one for you.

Chester Taylor would be a great signing for them considering how much they struggled to run the ball, having said that with Orton thinking he's Drew Brees most of the time it's no surprise that they couldn't get their running game going last season, I can't see Chester getting a huge amount of carries next year.

Free safety. I just think that if you pick up a half decent player of the FA list then it saves you having to pick one in the draft and essentially wasting a draft pick. I know you are going to get more years and probably a cheaper salary with a player out of the draft but at such an important position I'd rather have someone a little more experienced.

RavensInsider just tweeted that Patriots are favourites to beat out Ravens for Anquan Boldin.

Schefter then tweeted it's Ravens and Chiefs.

Wilson (RavensInsider) has hit a lot today and was very good over the season.

Man, I hate free agency. Gets my hopes up and shatters them, every time

Guessing you mean Cutler instead of Orton (easy mistake), but they have to run the ball more. If Forte/Taylor can share carries evenly, it will help them massively.

The NFC North is stacked for next year.

I really like what Detroit have done today as well. They're building the makings of a very good team.

That's not the first time Big Ben has been accused ...

Watched Total Access tonight and forgot how much I am missing by it not being on and got me rather annoyed ...

Interesting to note that there are 200 players effected by the change in free agency .. I bet some of them are screwing big time ... :)

pauldrulez 06-03-2010 12:29 AM

Watching it now, weird being 20 hours ahead though as I was just watching the same people live on the Network stream.

Got the Pats sussed.

They were leading the market for Boldin. Then pulled out.

It's all a media front and to keep fans happy.

With the labor situation, Kraft has no intention of spending money. But making halfassed offer then missing out makes it look like you're trying.

I call BS on the Pats. Grow some stones, everyone will be in a lockout. Deal with it and sign people

roll on next season . the ravens have the quality wide out we needed. Superbowl run is on , I am so excited, just what e we needed.:lux: :lux:

jazman 06-03-2010 09:20 PM

The Cards are losing out big time so far this close season ... clearly a team in transition that's for sure ...

pauldrulez 06-03-2010 10:40 PM

Top 5 pick next year.

That is one horrible division.

saxoneagle 07-03-2010 11:35 AM

The West could easily have 4 teams below .500. The saving grace is at least they each get 6 easy games a year - against each other :D

jazman 07-03-2010 02:28 PM

Schefter tweets that Kampman signs for Jags

They might all go 3-13 and have a coin toss for the play-offs. :o

Maybe someone that will get near Manning or Schaub.

Worst pass-rush in the NFL for 2-3 years running.

Kampman at the Jags now, Fargas released by the Raiders. It's all happening yet we seem to be dithering quite a bit.

Booo Eagles miss out again.

Suprised Fargas has been released, thought he'd made himself into their 2nd running back behind McFadden with his performances at the tail end of last season.
