I've been pretty quite since the season ended. I'm not a fan of the combine, my interest starts to get going when the draft is around the corner. Last year was the first I have ever really watched (and highlights at that!).

It's been a number of years since my team were involved in the upper end of the draft picks. Don't even know if we have ever taken that high picks in the recent past.

I will enjoy the NBA and NHL until MLB and cricket begins in earnest ... that as well as football keeps me more than amused ...

About time I updated my blog, it's been almost a month! But on review it seems that most of my blogs have been about NFL,a s has my latest. Probably the last one to include it for some months now though so take a read if you fancy it or are bored at work ... ;) :p

When does the Fantasy League start again?

I guess it's going to be difficult for a newbie to come in, as you all have team set up already - unless all teams are wiped out, not sure how you are doing it.

We draft around the start of July. All with new teams. And likely having 2 leagues of 12 as well.

peagle, Bellyman, EEIE. Our oft-missing Jets fans (coincidence they disappear after a loss, I think not). Saxoneagle even though he wants a year out.

With the leagues scoring system being the same, we could also run a knockout competition in between the leagues (FA Cup style). I've had it in a different website (5 different leagues), and it ran over 6 weeks and was good for those out of the normal league.

Phil, although I don't want to put on a pressure on him doing it, Ben will probably put a thread up around early to mid June for signup, put your name down with email address and then sit tight for instructions. Would be good to have you on board.

Two leagues of 12 is going to be tough to get, we don't want to pressurize people into signing up as they are often the first people to lose interest which in turn ruins it for the rest of the league. Two leagues of 10 would be good, I'm sure there is another 4 people out there who would join up, we already have one of them in Bellyman, so only 3 more needed.

Oh and, what are the Stoolers doing signing Randel El?? Strange one!

No chance, there is no way that the 09 SB champs are signing a dead beat shite WR from Washington to play at QB just in case things go a bit pear shaped with Roethlisberger.
