A good call or maybe Sweetwoods Park? I could also go and pop in on the folks in the old homestead!!!!

Swanny32 20-04-2010 10:31 PM

Sweetwoods is a cracking shout, never played there. I always like playing different courses.

pauldrulez 20-04-2010 11:10 PM

Miami/Jets is MNF in Week 1.

Patriots@Steelers is Nov 14th 8.20pm. Wankers, I wanted Nov 14th for a home game so I could go out there before my Bday.

pauldrulez 20-04-2010 11:16 PM

Thanksgiving.

Patriots @ Lions.

:lux:

God, I hope Calvin Johnson is injured that Thursday. I don't particularly fancy the team being embarrassed in front of an America-wide audience

Swanny32 21-04-2010 12:56 AM

Excitement is building! What dates will we be going to the US

Swanny32 21-04-2010 01:14 AM

Looks like we'll be going for week 1, 4 or 6, Packers, Redskins or Falcons. It's going to be next to impossible to get tickets for the Skins game so that probably rules out week 4. Week 1 may be pretty tough considering it's the first game of the season, would be a great game to watch though, so looks like it could be week 6 that Ardeo and I make the trip. Problem then is that it's starting to get a bit cold and it would be nice to catch the tail end of the summer and go in September.

Swanny32 21-04-2010 01:21 AM

How the hell is the Skins at Eagles game not on TV!

ardeo 21-04-2010 09:18 AM

The second half of our schedule is rock hard :(

That was already known though ...

pauldrulez 21-04-2010 02:00 PM

Known, but unconfirmed.

Cowboys get the Saints on Thanksgiving.

With our schedule, i'll be happy with 2-2 at the Bye. 6-6 entering December.

jazman 21-04-2010 02:46 PM

That is one tough schedule with an early bye and ending on two road games

3 Sep 26 DAL @ HOU
4 Bye
5 Oct 10 TEN @ DAL
6 Oct 17 DAL @ MIN
7 Oct 25 NYG @ DAL

pauldrulez 21-04-2010 05:40 PM

Look on the bright side, Xmas Night you're on TV.

jazman 21-04-2010 06:13 PM

Yes, that will go down well ... :o

AddiscombeEagle 21-04-2010 06:16 PM

adam schefter reporting squealers open to trade for fat ben! Great news for the ravens.

pauldrulez 21-04-2010 08:17 PM

Even worse news for Big Ben.

No, not that he's suspended.

The fact that the Rams turned down a trade proposal from the Steelers.

Fail.

Swanny32 21-04-2010 08:58 PM

It does make me laugh, talk about taking things for granted, some of these "stars" and I use that term very loosely in this case, they really don't know how good they have it with multi million dollar contracts, attractive girlfriends, flash cars and to be idolized by thousands.

jazman 21-04-2010 11:56 PM

Idiot.

I don't get sports people. Really I don't. They just don't know how good they have got it. And that just annoys me.

Swanny, you have it spot on.

In this case he has put himself in a position on more than one occassion where he could clearly get into some trouble whether he has done something or not.

Not the first time this has happened and won't be the last. Just another in a long line, and not just NFL.

It makes me mad :grrr:

Time to take guesses on who'll be draft greats & draft busts.

Great: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma (look out if he ends up on the Ravens - they suddenly have a very scary passing game)
Bust: Sergio Kindle, DE, Texas (poor man's Brian Orakpo)

I will now prepare for this to be quoted in December when Gresham has 7 catches and Kindle is defensive rookie of the year in waiting. :D

Swanny32 22-04-2010 01:30 AM

After all the talk about him over the last few months I can't help but think the Tebow will be a bit of a flop.

Kindle for me is a great prospect. He's not a passrusher but a proper OLB. I want him as a Patriot

Anyway, Great/Bust from top of first, lower first and one from the lower rounds.

Great: Bradford. Kyle Wilson. Dexter McCluster. George Selvie. Andre Roberts.

Bust: Okung. Pierre-Paul. Bryant. Jahvid Best.
