Have a read of point ten here. It's a very good one.

I'd agree except Florio missed something.

In 2007, we played the Chargers in the playoffs as well as the regular season and defeated them both times.

In 2009, the team was a fraud playoff team. You saw how they fell apart against Miami 2nd time around.

And also, it was the 3rd time we played the Jets. We lost the 1st game. Destroyed the 2nd game. Got beat in the 3rd.

The spygate argument makes no sense any more. It was so overblown at the time that people missed the Coaches making comments about that.

I'm happy keeping Benny, Woody and Faulk. I'd like Le'ron McClain. He wants out of Baltimore as he isn't getting carries.

Throw in a rookie and there's the backfield.

You got anyone other than Williams and Polite in your backfield for next year yet? Any rookies or 2nd year guys we've not heard about? You've got that Cobbs kid haven't you?

Williams out of contract too. No qualms with him walking.

Cobbs hasn't been the same since his injury.

It'll most likely be a clean sweep at the position, other than maybe hanging on to Sheets or Hilliard. And it's what we need.

Chances in taking Ingram?

Surely you'll pick up a Vet to go with whatever rookies you can get.

Maybe that's because your players don't act like winners? They definitely don't act 'seriously' so they won't be taken seriously. You give off a perception of yourself.

Sour grapes. The Jets won fair and square. Even if you don't like the pre-match banter and smack talk, you cannot take anything away from them.

No one has given any credit to Sanchez here. A QB has a lot to do with a winning team and that evening when they traded up to get him in the draft is proving rather inspired.

It's not really sour grapes since that's always been my opinion week in week out. I congratulate him on the win, they played very well and we played badly and they deserved to win, what more can I say? I'm upset about it but I'm not sour. I'm just expressing my opinion that if they behave like that, nobody's going to think of them as champions, as a great team, as the league leaders. If you don;t agree with me that's fine but that's how I see it.

I'd have thought there would have been more press about the apparant lack of movement on the key decision that makes next season so vunerable ... maybe it will get moving once this season is over ... but surely everyone wants to know before this season is out ...

There are teams that have won the SB before and not been considered great teams. They have their own style and once again I liken them to old crazy gang, Wimbledon. They step on people's toe's and upset the apple cart. I'm not saying what has gone on is right, there is a certain amount of arrogance about it, but tell me one team that is winning and doesn't have that ... damn, the Cowboys have even had that in the past and even more recently by expecting to do things and win games because of who they are ... if the Jets win the SB this year, then they have their rings, that's what it's all about. They are not here to make friends. It's a different style maybe but, heck, it's working...

Personally, I'm firmly in the NFC camp. Looking forward to the championship game between the Packers and the Bears. Have a lot of time for both teams and what they have accomplished this season ...

Irsay (Colts owner) reckons it'll get done.

The Pats players that have tweeted reckon it gets done.

Robert Kraft thinks it gets done.

Good enough for me.

I think the Jets are underrated and flown under the radar.

Everyone looks at them and says "they lost 45-3, they suck".

That's not true.

They lost their best Safety and Secondary playcaller Jim Leonhard the day before the game.

They had no shot with the plays and throws being made that day.

And Sanchez was lost in the snow.

He played very well yesterday after a rough start.

But his receivers and Line deserve massive credit aswell.

ardeo 17-01-2011 10:47 PM

Jets don't get much credit because of last season more than this one. Last season they were let into the playoffs by the Colts, then beat the imploding bungals, before beating Chargers thanked to 3 missed FGs from Kaeding.

This season they have been a lot better and probably haven't got the credit they deserve, they still got a wildcard, but got it on merit, and now they are in the playoffs their defence is really bringing their A game again. Sanchez is still too hit and miss for me, and a really slow starter. Pats should have been up 7-10 points on the Jets and that would probably have been enough for them to see the game through.

Comapring them to the likes of w*nkers like Vinny Jones and John Fashunu has, amazingly, made them even less endearing in my eyes :D

All I'm going to say is I'm gutted that the Ravens lost! :(

Why don't you give a link to or post ALL of the teams rather than state just the Pats? This is an NFL thread after all ;)

Not revealed yet.

Pats players told the media who is in and who is out Pats wise

:)

saxoneagle 18-01-2011 01:01 AM

Well, just a quick pointer - not everyone is interested in every bit of news about one team ;)

pauldrulez 18-01-2011 01:32 AM

Course they are. :D

It's called fill in the blanks of the rest of the team.

Mayo beats out Lewis and Willis I believe.

pauldrulez 18-01-2011 01:33 AM

Oh, and Mr Chad Ocho Cinco is flirting with the Patriots again.

I will not be shocked if he turns up.

Bill and Chad love each other. Masses of mutual respect.
