Yep, the way I look at it is if Andy Reid likes the guy then I like the guy, sure there are some things that piss me off about Reid but at the end of the day you can't argue with his record in making the playoffs and you gotta be in it to win it, right? I disagree with the pick in the 3rd round but then that's why I'm the fan and he's the coach. Hopefully we can work on this Marsh kid and mould him into the corner that we want/need.

My concern at the moment is Kolb, he's still with us and doesn't want to be with us. I was hoping we'd be able to make a trade for him for a draft pick this year, now it's more likely to be a player trade or picks for next years draft, that's IF we get shot of him. I like the guy and is undoubtedly a great backup but I don't want someone on the sidelines with the potential to start 3-5 games in a season who's got beef with the franchise.

One of our CB's (Darius Butler?) for one of your passrushers.

Would be interesting.

I don't see you getting Asomugha. Too much money when you already have Samuel.

Another team will throw a lot of money at him.

I can't see it happening, Reid likes his pass rushers too much, can't see any players worthy of getting into your team being traded away.

Kolb has been very professional about the whole thing really. With the Cardinals not drafting a QB I would say it's odds on he'll be there next year. We'll get a first rounder for him and maybe a little extra.

Swanny32 30-04-2011 10:30 PM

On the clock again, and then again in about 5 minutes.

He'd be a good fit for Zona, can't really see them being a playoff team next season which means we'll probably have an early 1st rounder, probably top 10.

Swanny32 30-04-2011 10:33 PM

Holy crap, another guard.......we got depth! Yay!

SteveyHawking 30-04-2011 10:34 PM

Now we draft a center in Jason Kelce. He'll just be on the practice squad IMO as Jackson will be back and McGlynn was a very good back up last year.

pauldrulez 30-04-2011 10:38 PM

Come on Herzlich.

Swanny32 30-04-2011 10:39 PM

Another Linebacker, Brian Rolle out of Ohio State (GO BUCKEYES!) half decent player!

SteveyHawking 30-04-2011 10:41 PM

Brian Rolle drafted now. He'll be a good acquisition on special teams for starters having had a look at him. Definitely a need as we were lacking in that area last year.

pauldrulez 30-04-2011 10:41 PM

Markell Carter.

Well, he's 6ft 4. Not 260.

Not Mark Herzlich either.

But, it's an OLB, we're going to win the Superbowl...

Funk Butter 30-04-2011 10:49 PM

Good thing the Falcons drafted a punter before anybody else did.

TBF, We took Mesko last year and he won us a game. The Ravens in OT, hit a 55+ yarder to switch field position and win us the game.

SteveyHawking 30-04-2011 11:12 PM

So Seattle are in prime position to get Kolb now? He'll definitely be playing in the NFC West then.

BLUE BOY 30-04-2011 11:53 PM

Don't think Kolb or C Palmer end up in Seattle, i think we have one season Of C Whitehurst and go from there.........but with the way the draft has gone i think there hoping to snag A Luck with the 1st pick next draft!

SteveyHawking 01-05-2011 12:51 AM

And with the Eagles 2nd to last pick - another linebacker in Greg Lloyd. We've added depth to that position in the later rounds thankfully. Hopefully a defensive lineman to wrap up a solid if unspectacular draft for the Eagles.

SteveyHawking 01-05-2011 12:56 AM

Another pick - and last one on day three - on offence for the Eagles. Havili a fullback who's a decent receiver out of the backfield. Sounds like we're making sure we've got something in backup in case Leonard Weaver doesn't make it back from injury.

SteveyHawking 01-05-2011 01:29 AM

And Mr Irrelevant is...

... Cheta Ozougwu. Congratulations! :lux:

With that the 2011 NFL draft is over. It's been fun these last three days. :p

Swanny32 01-05-2011 01:35 AM

It has indeed, gone very quick!

Anyone got NFL Network (£2.99 per month) and watching the Top 100 Players of 2011 in half an hour?
