Also, NFL.com reporting Jets are interested in Moss. Obviously this is good as it suggests maybe they won;t be resigning some of their guys (who are better). But I'm not sure I could take that :( Anyone but the Jets :(

pauldrulez 23-05-2011 08:31 PM

They can have him. Sanchez doesn't have the arm for Moss. And it means Holmes likely wont stay in NY. Or Edwards.

That's far too rational though. It's Moss! One of the best receivers ever, caught record-breaking touchdowns in a pats jersey, scored so many points, part of the 16-0 team, the name on the back of my first ever Pats jersey! How could I ever wear that thing again?

Think of it another way. What impact did he have at the Vikings and Titans last season? Enough said.

Ordered my tickets for the Eagles v Giants games at Philly in September, really looking forward to it and want them to sort out the season soon.

Might be attending that one myself.

Cool fancy a pint? Will you be staying in Philly?

I'll be staying in Milford, PA with my American Mom then heading down to Philly on game day. Ardeo would have been coming with me but he drank and gambled all his money away. :D

Where did you order them from? I want to start getting onto ordering tickets for the matches I want to see next season (in the hope there is a season).

We're in Vegas when UNLV play - a season ticket there is only $75 so even if I can't get an individual ticket I'll just buy a ST :D

I wasn't even invited, and technically i wasted all my money on my masters :(

Swanny32 25-05-2011 03:12 PM

I don't know where you got this "wasn't invited" malarky from, Mom would like to see you too, I'd rather you came with me than Jayne, which is looking unlikely as I'll probably only be able to afford for me to go. I did however promise I would take Jayne to NYC so I'll keep trying to save as much wonga as possible.

To go back to my pet hate in the NFL other than the lockout. Rants and Raves, telling Peter King that Peyton is still the best QB in the NFL, period. I point out he had his worst season last year, and they say I'm saying it because i'm a Pats fan.

Miranda is a douche.

Indeed. However, could it still be possible for him to have his worst season and still be the best QB in the NFL, period? Perhaps, it's all down to opinion. And to be fair, being a Pats fan is a perfectly acceptable reason to deride someone's point of view.

Swanny32 25-05-2011 05:24 PM

Manning is the best QB in the league, Paul.

ardeo 25-05-2011 05:58 PM

If Paul is saying that Manning being the best QB in the league should be up for discussion then I agree, if he's saying he's definitely not the best then I disagree.

How much money do I need to save, borrow, steal or win and by when Chris? :)

jazman 25-05-2011 08:00 PM

Paul seems to dislike NFL R&R now anyway ...

On his day he is one of if not the best QB currently playing, no question ...

Lol @ win......

I have no idea fella, I would imagine something similar to what you had before. Was thinking about Late September/Early October although also though about going out for Thanksgiving, only had one out in the states before and it sucked, would be ten million times better with Mom and the gang.......minus Meg.

I don't know. The thing is, if you had to pick a quarterback from this league I think right now you'd go Rodgers, Brady or Manning and you'd be delighted with any of them. It's so hard to say who is the best out of all of them as they all have strengths and weaknesses etc. Even as a Pats fan I can't say which one I'd most like to have on my team, all I can say is I'd be happy with any of them.
