John Schneider, the excellent Seahawks GM has had his contract extended until the end of the 2016 season.

Well - looks like Hernandez's career might be done already. In other news we may still have to pay him if he goes to prison. Great.

pauldrulez 21-06-2013 11:36 PM

He hasn't been charged or even arrested.

Media are nothing short of a disgrace.

I'm not sure if the Falcons had to pay Michael Vick when he was in prison, but he was counting against the salary cap.

What's interested me has been that until this story came out I have heard nothing negative of Hernandez or his personality during his time in NE - now all these stories come out that he once threatened Welker and doesnt get on with any of his teammates.

pauldrulez 22-06-2013 06:50 PM

I'll put money on that the Welker story came from Moss. Shalise's main sources were always Adalius Thomas and Randy.

Hernandez had a bad rep. They did well to keep it quiet

I'd always thought that Belichick was a bit of a disciplinarian. Has he been letting things slip over recent years? This, Welker, Moss, Haynesworth,Tebow, Gronk and the porn star.... is it all becoming a circus?

peagle 26-06-2013 04:28 PM

Hernandez released by Patriots: http://www.patriots.com/news/article...6-de53da754e73

pauldrulez 26-06-2013 04:34 PM

I hope he rots.

In an additional note, the Boston TE Party will be changing names in the Keeper League.

They will also be releasing Aaron Hernandez.

He still is!

Welker - had a bit of fun and found himself benched.
Moss - first sign of trouble, he was gone.
Haynesworth - tanked plays, gone.
Tebow - I bow to thee.
Gronk - he hasn't done anything illegal! He just likes boobs.

As for this, I heard last week that the new CBA means the Patriots will get Salary Cap money back

pauldrulez 26-06-2013 04:46 PM

And Urban Meyer done one hell of a job sweeping shit under the carpets at Florida.

Spikes, Cunningham, Hernandez.

All 3 have been a problem in New England. All 3 drafted from Florida in 2010.

Yes, I agree. But I'd always though their success had been based on running a tight ship, and in the instances of Haynesworth, Tebow, and Chad - it seems they've recently been flirting with introducing some odd choices into a squad that's seemingly already full of some 'interesting' characters.
