Everyone in college football knew they were a shambles. Meyer had a dreadful track record at Florida for that sort of shit, and it wasn't kept particularly quiet.

Hernandez was dreadfully behaved while at Florida, from day one.

I'm just gutted and disappointed.

He was my favourite player, a physical freak of a TE. The open field moves, the "making it rain" celebration, and he'd just signed a new contract and saying how great his life was and how thankful he was to the Patriots.

As repugnant as this story is, it shouldn't put you off the season. For every waster like Hernandez there are ten stories of NFL players giving back to their communities and inspirational to those less fortunate.

This boggles my mind. I would think under any circumstance that the rental car place would report a shell casing to police, but for a car they knew was under investigation is outrageous.

Hernandez has a tattoo saying "blood" on his hand. It wasn't there a couple of years ago.

I actually think the man is involved in everything. Guns. Drugs. Gangs. Murders.
