It was 45-7 last time I saw. Has it increased?

It's a stupid rule. Both should get a possession. Crazy rule.

Neither team would ever complain because it's a well-understood rule. No controversy.

Naughty Naughty Pats.

I'm not sure how much there is to this story other than the officials weighed a ball to check it which apparently happens before and after every game anyway. The writer happens to be a journo from Indianapolis too. We'll see always controversy when it comes to the pats it seems.

Believing one reporter from Indy.

Nate Solder > Indy receivers.

The only deflated balls in that game belonged to Andrew Luck.

Who was our resident Jets fan on here?

They've been charged with tampering.

What was Phil Tufnell doing on the field for the onside kick?

Deflategate?

Seems stupid if they were doing something like that because the Pats were always winning that game.

Not overly happy with the outcome, but for drama and intrigue, that NFC Championship game might just be the best game of football I've ever seen since I started watching the sport. The amount of poor plays from both sides made it so gripping to watch.

And this Super Bowl could be one for the ages. If I could pick one Head Coach & Quarterback to go up against this Seattle team and stop them, it's Bill Belicheck & Tom Brady. You just know they have the designs in their play book to test this Seattle defence to its limit.

davematt 19-01-2015 01:52 PM

Oh, and having Gronk 100% healthy could be the biggest factor of all. He could be the kryptonite to the Seattle Defence.

dannyboy1807 19-01-2015 02:22 PM

now in the Daily Mail although they're quoting the same article.

If you like the NFL, Kam Chancellor vs Rob Gronkowski is a matchup you would want to see.

What they all appear to miss is that the balls are weighed pregame and given to ballboys, they don't go back to the benches after that.

I give it 48 hours when the NFL will say: "We find no evidence that the balls were deflated".

And even if they were, it favours the team who was throwing the ball, not the team running it 40 times.

Still buzzing over that match last night. Amazing game from start to finish.

Time to book leave for the day after the superbowl because it has the potential to be really special.

BLUE BOY 19-01-2015 04:08 PM

Not going to lie, i'd given up hope............but WOW, what a yeam! Gotta love the bever say die attitude.

I assume CT Palace will now be backing the Seahawks seeing as we are representing not only the NFC but the NFC West!

Tom Brady laughed off the allegations on Monday. “I think I’ve heard it all at this point,” Brady told WEEI-FM. “That’s the last of my worries. I don’t even respond to stuff like this”

It's just yet another example of the ridiculous "the Patriots won, they must've cheated somehow, don't forget Spygate" syndrome that regularly kicks in when Belichick and co give another team a thorough beating. At first it was annoying but now it's just laughable how desperate some people are to try and discredit anything the Patriots achieve.

As I've seen elsewhere, the culture is that everyone will worry about some deflated balls, but not worry about the 5 minute concussion procedures that happened in both games, with Thomas and Revis.
