That first half had more flags than points. A bit of a mess all round. Philly's offense stunk and the Falcons remained awful in the red zone. Here's hoping Foles picks up his game in the second half.

Some sloppy play from both teams in the fourth. It's going to be close.

Eagles red zone defense comes up big for an important opening night win.

I would say Ryan lost that game as much as Philly won it. Phillys rush defence was fantastic, but both offenses lacked that sparked. Ajayi whilst having a great game, will need to improve as the Eagles dont have Blount to lean on.

It's not surprising that the Falcons lost just that they didn't lose in a more painful manner. Usual operating procedure for an Atlanta sports team would be to miss the XP, stop the Eagles on that last drive, block the FG then fumble the ball as they try to run out clock and give up a game winning FG.
