That's why I said that I hoped JJ will be making a donation. He may have been the one to set up the fund, who knows. I'm certain a number of the players will do, that goes without saying I think. Just returns my faith in human kind, that was my point.

Yep that's the latest, but apparently he's keeping his cards close to his chest due to an injury that needs to clear up and his desire to not make a decision until he can miss a tiresome May training camp of some description.

Apparently.

Consistent in praise? So people aren't allowed to change an opinion. I still think he is a smarmy bastard, but he is one of the best in the business at his job.

See again - boast, boast, boast about nothing more than a few people making guesses. Cassel could be franchised/Cassel could not be - 50/50 chance Paul and as you prove regularly if you guess enough and cover all bases you'll get something right.

You've heard the phrase every dog has its day, right? :hmph:

pauldrulez 09-05-2009 05:07 PM

And you started this dumbass rant why?

Because I said Adam Schefter came across well in an interview?

Since you are obviously never allowed more than one opinion on something, I must stick with my original opinion that Tom Brady will never be better than Drew Bledsoe.

Oh, wait...

"Favre injury might be serious"

Good. Minnesota are better off without him slinging the ball around. He'll have Childress wrapped around his fingers quicker than you can say Pick six.

Until he started slinging it around, the Jets done well last year, he became a smartass and look what happened.

They are better off with Sage "Helicopter" Rosenfels or Jackson, at least that way Peterson will be running the ball 75% of the time.

Though the theatre of him going back to Lambeau would be fun to watch. Is he intent on wiping his arse on Lambeau Field as every year passes?

Latvian Eagle 10-05-2009 02:18 PM

Has Sage gone to Minnesota then?

Who's Schaub's back up in Houston now then?

pauldrulez 10-05-2009 04:19 PM

Yep.

Dan Orlovsky I believe.

They replaced the helicopter with the guy who runs out of his own endzone.

:D

So the Dolphins rename their stadium the LandShark stadium? Doesn't that seem a bit odd, considering the fact that Dolphins and Sharks don't exactly get on? :D

There's a hundred jokes about your wife marrying you in my mind right now, but I'm not sure which one to go with.

For those that remember, I was thinking of taking a trip to the good ol' US of A to watch the Patriots play this year.

I've scrimped and saved (no Palace season ticket, festivals or clubbing holidays).

And I have one of 2 plans.

Plan a)
Fly to Boston.
Take in the first game of the season. Monday Night football against TO and the Bills.
Coach down to New York midweek.
Take in Sunday Night football against the New York Jets.
Fly from NY back to LDN.

Plan b)
Fly to NY.
Take in the Jets game at Meadowlands.
Travel midweek up to Boston.
Watch the Atlanta Ryans come to New England as Matt Ryan returns to his home to face the Pats.
Fly back from Boston.

10 days, 5 in each city, which game to see?

I am halfway through reading “the blind side: evolution of a game”. About Michael Oher and the left tackle position in general. Has anyone else read it? I am really enjoying it, very interesting and thought provoking book, a whole lot more than a book about football.

Looks like Nookie and I may get to see the Skins, Phins, Rams, Colts, Bucs and Patsies next season. Lovely jubbly!! :lux: :lux: :lux:

Plan C
Fly to Dallas
Take in a tour of the new stadium
Travel into the countryside to catch a glimpse of the local inbreds
Watch Dallas tear apart whoever is playing that weekend
Fly back home

;) :o
