And you mention loyalty. I havent supported any other team before or after 2000 season when I started watching NFL with my cousins and was taught the rules.

If I wasn't going to be loyal to a team, it would be Palace. They piss me off no end.

Would rather waste all my money on a trip to the US and pay £3 to watch Carshalton than pay £300 to watch Palace.

I was talking about players rather than fans. :)

The 3 TB's?

Brown, Bruschi and Brady. As well as Faulk

Green, Light, Seymour. Though I wouldn't care if all 3 went in FA next year. All vastly overrated right now.

Coaches - Scarnecchia and Belichick.

But, saying that. Every player has a cut-off and as Vrabel found out, you can be traded if the price for your services is too high.

Ignoring my last post completely and going into a different direction.

Rank the 32 teams in order and then post it here to see how we all vary.

No bias to this at all. Best off-season move: Tom Brady.

saxoneagle 18-05-2009 07:20 PM

Cleveland are the worst team and they now have Mangini in charge, too.

What "move" was that, Paul?

pauldrulez 18-05-2009 07:28 PM

The move of throwing the ball again.

Cleveland for me is based on the fact that they still have 2 "decent" QBs and kept Marshall.

Lets see what Mangenius (or not) can do with a QB that wont throw interceptions at crucial points.

Despite being born in North Carolina, my stepson supports the Eagles so we're hopefully taking him to see them play the Redskins at the Fed Ex. We might be able to get to the Charlotte game too.

I had a Philadelphia Eagles cap when I was about 16. It was green, with a white eagle on it.

That's all the news I have.

pauldrulez 18-05-2009 07:39 PM

The last Eagles news on nfl.com was Ellis Hobbs getting some sort of degree (well it was the last time I looked)

And before anyone comes back with a comment about Brady, under 4 months until Monday Night Football against the Bills.

Reminds me of that third string QB who stood on the sideline wearing a headset during Super Bowl XX. ;)

pauldrulez 18-05-2009 09:59 PM

3rd string QB, 23 years ago. Now thats a tough one to know.

Eason and Grogan were 1 and 2.

Google and patriots.com await my research ;)

She probably saw the er, "slip-up" with his playbook on top of his johnson on his blog :p ;)

pauldrulez 18-05-2009 10:01 PM

Tom Ramsey, 3rd QB. #12

Drafted in 10th round :p

Strathclyde Eagle 18-05-2009 10:44 PM

Never did anything but wear a headset. :D

Which against the '85 Bears probably wasn't a bad idea.

As Merlin Olsen said, "I wouldn't want to stand down there."

nookiebear 18-05-2009 10:57 PM

So the flights are booked :) Ben and I are off to see the Skins host the Rams and the Dolphins host the Colts on the Monday in week 2. Can't wait :)

We are a better team than last year, with an easier schedule, not sure why everyone feels we will be ranked 32nd. We're not playoff material but must be better than last year. :hmph:

In Mangenius we trust!

WOOF WOOF!
