Cleveland for me is based on the fact that they still have 2 "decent" QBs and kept Marshall.

Lets see what Mangenius (or not) can do with a QB that wont throw interceptions at crucial points.

You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn! :p

WOOF WOOF!

In Mangenius we trust!

That's what Jets fans said, too.

Any other coach other than him I'd have given you a shot for 5/6 wins. With him, that is 4, maybe less, just on his coaching inability.

Don't get me wrong - unlike the Jets, I actually like Cleveland given it was the first ever city I saw a live match in so I want them to do well. I just don't see it this year. They need to ship out Anderson for a high second rounder next year and build from a strong 2010 draft class. :p

Which against the '85 Bears probably wasn't a bad idea.

As Merlin Olsen said, "I wouldn't want to stand down there."

Which has pushed me nicely onto my next question.

Who would win this matchup.

The 1985 Bears D against the 2007 Patriots offense? :o

A Madden historical matchup between those teams would be good :p

And the Sox smash the Orioles in B'more.

And to eat ourselves stupid in ESPN Zone on the Sunday night while watching Giants @ Cowgirls.

Yes, yes and thrice yes.

I'm a massive 85 bears fan. I'd go bears every day. Seriously.

You and Paul weren't even born ;)

pauldrulez 19-05-2009 08:31 PM

Doesn't stop me having a (wrong) opinion on it ;)

Aye, the one thing Boston lacks is an ESPN Zone.

Saxon, I LOVE the place and I make no apologies for it. :o :lux:

pauldrulez 19-05-2009 08:57 PM

Ben, have you been to the one in NY?

Any good?

I have been there many times. It is good but there are so many better places around.

Try Stout - about 2 blocks from MSG.

What's the latest news fellas as I have lost touch with NFL for a number of weeks?

Has Favre retired to the Vikings yet?

Cheers :p

Think i'll have a google and see what its like.

If i'm honest, if the place sells burgers and some beer/coke (depending on my feeling), my dinner is sorted

No, but they are still in talks.

Vikings have received the x-rays of Favre's shoulder and are still interested, so it can't be that bad.

jazman 19-05-2009 09:21 PM

Is that the extent of NFL news for the past few weeks? I'm so glad I didn't waste my time looking .. :o

pauldrulez 19-05-2009 09:29 PM

Very true.

I'll give you a quick rundown of other stuff.

KC fans unhappy because Cassel's first 2 passes to Dwayne Bowe in OTA's, were dropped.

Erm, TO is at Bills OTA's.

Errrrrrmmmm, there are lots of power rankings on there.

Really struggling here, the guy that got badly hurt in the stadium collapse in Dallas, has attended workouts today.

Yep, you are right. No real information at all.

jazman 19-05-2009 09:37 PM

My decision was a good one then, I'm glad.

Good news about the Dallas special teams coach ... :p
