Count me in as an ESPN Zone fan as well.

Mmm, Mountain Dew + free refills.

The 1985 Bears D against the 2007 Patriots offense? :o

A Madden historical matchup between those teams would be good :p

Seeing as the Giants undid them with the pass rush I'd pick the 85 Bears. Honestly, the pass rush in that game was unreal. The Patriots longest gain of the game was 24 yards, on a rainbow pass to the sideline on 3rd and 33.

Any good?

I've never been to New York.

Chicago, Boston, Washington, LA, Detroit, Baltimore, Orlando, yes. New York never.

The ESPN Zone in Chicago is fantastic.

Oh and Saxon, Bud Light? Bleurgh.

My local (frequently mentioned on the BBS) shop sells 500ml bottles of Dew for 45p.

It's so bad, yet so good!

Good point, but if we don't class it as the Superbowl team (with Brady's hurt foot, Moss's injury and the loss of 3 OG's by the half), but as the best the teams had been.

So, when the Patriots had the spread offense out with Moss, Welker, Stallworth(or Gaffney), Watson and Faulk/Maroney. They were moving it pretty easily for the first 12-13 games of the season.

I'm pretty sure it was Miami (with Marino) who used the spread offense to beat the Bears. Marino using his quick release to get the ball out before the 46 defense could get to him.

I'm being bias by saying that the Patriots would win, and really I think that Payton could run all over the Patriots with the aged LB corps that played that season.

I'll go for 23-20 Patriots anyway ;)

(Ben, does Madden 09 have historical teams? And will Madden 10 as I don't feel like playing Madden 08 again) ;)

it's all about the mini burgers :)

Paul, if you want bar suggestions in NY, let me know.

Most of them are around mid-town to cater for the tourist in you :D

Don't know about historical teams, but there's plenty to look forward to in Madden 10 if you've read any of the EA blogs.

Anything for me to do at night is welcome.

I'm still persuading someone to go with me. 10 days with me in their ear. Don't blame them ;)

I might actually wait a year until i'm 20 and try it. I like the look of the teams the Pats (should) play next year if the schedule remains the same. Actually, I don't except for Minnesota with Adrian who? Green Bay and Cincy could be fun as well as Baltimore again.

Though I prefer my idea of going this year and seeing the Brady/Moss show and TO.

No news to report.

But, I might as well add a great image I found via patsfans.com (Have to credit them because they get in a stress with some sites)

To drag this thread back up on a sombre note.

RIP Marquise Hill.

2 years on after his death in lake Ponchatrain.

My thoughts go to his family and his best friend Jarvis Green who I believe adopted Marquise's young son after his death.

I strongly recommend "The Marquise Hill Story" from Amazon. It's quite expensive for a book, but tells a lot about his life and how he is still affecting people's lives after his death

Marquise Hill 1982 - 2007.

#91. Never forgotten.
