And since Brady started the game, he is given the Championship rather than Drew. And Bledsoe's only TD occurred on the drive where Tom was knocked out of the game after moving the ball. Left him in Steelers territory with time on the clock. |
I was only kidding, I was basing it all on watching the America's Game series a year ago, surprised I remembered that.

I'm backing Kyle Eckel and the New Orleans Saints for the Bowl.
I'd probably cry if he scored a TD in the bowl. |

I watch them when i'm in a shit mood. 2007 would have made a great America's Game for the Patriots. :sob: Maybe they'll do a Missing Ring special on it like they did with other teams. The positive of Less NFL:TA and Gameday is that there are more Americas Game episodes. A few months back I saw the 1998 Vikings one. That was a missing rings special. Really enjoyed watching it. The antics of a fresh-faced Randy Moss were hilarious. If he'd played like that his whole career, he'd be the undisputed best WR of all time. He had the talent to be better than Jerry Rice and a few of the others. If only he'd had the right attitude his whole career. |

I really put your nose out of joint. I didn't think you were married as you come across as an obsessed 12 year old boy. Seeing you said you were going to ignore me, it sure is funny watching you, trying to get one over on me. Better luck next time. PS - what I wrote was me trying to break the ice. It was obiously a joke, something you find difficult to grasp :D |

Is Nordberg still around, why hasn't he been banned yet? Is he talking sense yet or still slagging people off? |

Talk about going downhill fast. I do like how 3 maybe 4 key points were lost in Spygate. 1. How did the guy get spotted videoing? Because Mangini's assistant was next to him watching. Why did Mangini grass him up? Because he and Bill had an argument in the off-season before over a player. The Jets were caught doing the very same thing at Gillette. But out of respect to Mangini (being one of Bill's ex-assistants), he didn't grass him up. This (and the fact that the D fell apart when Mangini took over from Crennel) are two reasons I hate the fat douchebag. 2. The rules originally didn't mean that what Bill was doing was wrong. The 6 original tapes were all possibly illegal, but there were loopholes in the laws that allowed it to be done. It was only towards the end of the 2006 season that a memo went out to all teams clarifying the rule as other teams had been spotted doing it as well. Then Bill was caught out doing the same and came out with the "I mis-interpreted the rules" excuse. 3. The tapes all featured staff from other teams waving and joking at the camera, so they all knew what was going on. And finally, 16-0/18-1 happened after Spygate. No cheating, no nothing. The NFC Least destroyed 4-0. 6-0 in the division. 12-0 in the conference. It's a shame the Giants were the only team smart enough in the league to figure out you had to win the Line of Scrimmage and hit Brady to win. We lost 3Linemen to injuries during the game which didn't help, but the rush IMO meant the players were moving more, and big bodies get hurt the more they move. And that's all teams done this year. Blitz, pressure and hit. And it works. Patriots need to draft that Vladimir guy and put him next to Seabass Vollmer. Just because you wouldn't want to run into our Berlin Wall O-Line of Vollmer and Vladimir :D :lux: |
Anyway, now i've had my rant, calmed down, organised a Staff Bonding meeting (10 pin bowling :lux:) and got a drink.
You might have heard Denver stupidly fired their Defensive Co-ordinator. He would be Mike Nolan. The guy who turned the worst D into the 7th best in the League. He's now signed for Miami. The reason why he left/got fired? He was told by McDaniels that he is not blitzing the QB in 2010. First big mistake he's made in Denver. a) He's not a Defensive Head Coach. He's an Offensive genius. b) Mike Nolan has turned an average D with one star player into a strong D with very good players, some who have developed onwards and has 2 veteran leaders with strong influence on the Secondary with Champ Bailey and B-Dawk. Finally, he is about to hire Dean Pees. Yes, the Dean Pees who has built a Patriots Defense who can't rush the Passer effectively, barely blitz and struggle to cover. Not good. |
Looks good for a niners win at Wembley then!

OK, so I know this is my first season on this thread really, but does it always descend into childish bickering? I always thought I was the youngest on here!
