To be honest I'll probably end up staying up and watching the game at home with a few beers. I'm working till 9.30pm and by the time I get home it'll only be an hour or so till kick off. it is a 11.30 gmt kick off, right?

Who was it on here who was a dab hand at the old graphics? I'm the leader of our Church Youth group and in desperate need of someone fairly creative and good at designing logo's on a PC to knock something up for us.

Ignore Oz, I didn't chose the Cowboys for the money. I sat there on the first night NFL was shown in the UK wuth my old man and we both chose a team we liked the look of and have stuck with them ever since. Neither of us had any allegience to any part of the US as neither had or since been there ... Watch NFLUK on Five Saturday morning, they have been running the rule over all the teams so far this season, kind of an introduction to them all to help new fans decide. I think it's on the NFLUK website as well somewhere ...

I will nominate the Houston Texans for you. No one on here follows them but are an up and coming team, just missed out on the play offs this year :p

I'd suggest picking a team that is reasonable that you can find some connection with. Anyone that finished last season between 7-9 and 9-7 is worth starting your support off with. Anyone below that is probably a bit sucky and anyone above and your glory hunting a bit.

Agree that supporting someone not supported by any of us would be good for the board. Too many Eagles, Cowboys and Pats fans as it is.

Thinking I might make Seahawks my second team, there definitely crap enough.

Chaps, I won't be buying a ticket for the SF Denver game as I believe I can get a £30 ticket on the day. If I miss out I've got a friend that lives around the Preston Road that'll go visit for a beer.

I don't rate this game and am disappointed that the NFL have given us two teams that I can't see drawing out a big turnout. I really believe only 78,000 people turned up at Wembley last. In my corner seat/ third tier (£65) there were loads of gaps.

Many touts would have held onto tickets for that game. The teams and pricing didn't justify every seat being taken.

I have to disagree with this Sllll, I think the 49ers got a huge following back in the 80's and early 90's so them alone will draw a lot of excitement. I also think the Bronco's although finishing poorly are a good up and coming team that a lot of new NFL fans over here might look to adopt as "their team". With good draft picks this could be a huge game, and of course, a huge game that the niners will win.

The NFLUK director geezer also said that they would look at reducing the cost of tickets as there may well be two games and they'd probably need to in order to fill Wembley twice, I hope this is the case as I really would like to go to both. The way the guy was talking at the weekend, I'd be very surprised if there isn't a second game this year.

Why not adopt one of the teams coming to Wembley as your team? That way you have 10 months to learn about the game, learn about your team and come October you'll be able to see them in action. I'd highly recommend the 49ers! They are my second team and I really cannot wait to see them in action. I might even have to treat myself to a Crabtree jersey, although being an Eagles fan I'd struggle to wear any other Jersey and would probably rather represent Philly at Wembley.

I'm going to follow the 49ers a lot more closely next season, with you adopting the Seahawks as your second team, I do believe that would put us in direct competition in the NFC West!

You were never going to match last years match up to be honest, Tampa a poor team against arguably the team of the decade who are again arguably the most supported team in the UK ... I like this years match up and will definately be going. However, I will not go to both ... and that is the key when they talk about having a team in the UK. It's all well and good having a regular season game over here once a season, potentially twice ... but to have a team here and guaranteeing eight games could very well prove to be the issue - could they fill Wembley for all eight game? I don't doubt it against the top sides but against teams like the Bucs, Rams, Browns etc ... I don't think so. And has been said before, most fans who already follow NFL have their team which they will not change ellegience to ...

I agree that SF should have a following, just that I think I'm going to get a cheaper ticket than £65 from a tout next time.

When I saw the Cowboys Detroit in the mid 90's at Wembley even then the touts had tickets at £5 when I'd bought mine for £15.

For me SF Den hasn't got me excited much, glad for you guys that it has :D
