I think it was the season that Drew Bledsoe? (Forgive my spelling) was playing for them. I think he went to the Patriots or something?

Welcome :p ... Bills/Cowboys fans in the same household? Ouch, that would have been tough in the 90s ... :) Yes, Bledsoe was the man ... :p

I put that bet on the Jets to win the superbowl, only a few quid for a laugh, 8-1....they really MUST be the underdogs!

How many on here play Madden10? Bought it about 2 weeks ago, play on xbox live if anyone fancies a game some time (oh and before you say anything I know there is a dedicated thread, I thought I would just mention it)

Pretty annoyed as I'm going to miss the first Championship game this weekend (working till 9.30pm) but ill catch the second :(

jazman 22-01-2010 11:29 AM

Good work DE ... I haven't looked at the times of the games this weekend actually ... are they Saturday and Sunday again?

pauldrulez 22-01-2010 11:33 AM

8pm and 11.30pm Sunday.

The 2nd one is a bitch of a time, I know I could stay up for it, but if it becomes a 4 hour game, i'll pay for it Monday Morning.

Sky+ the 2nd one. Would rather they were the other way round though ...

ardeo 22-01-2010 12:19 PM

I've got Monday off so I can watch them both, also got a few things I need to do as well so will give me a chance to do them when places are actually open during the week.

Got superbowl Monday booked off as well! Go NFC!!!

jazman 22-01-2010 01:24 PM

Just a heads up, it appears to be free ESPN this weekend which includes the Milan derby ... :p

I subscribed to it to watch the masses of college football over Xmas. I thought I could turn it off as easy as Sky Sports but was told I have to give a month's notice. So it's not free for me :sob:

jazman 22-01-2010 01:31 PM

I've been toying with the idea for a while ... is it any good?

Sounds like Setanta, that was a nightmare to cancel ...

deftones_eagle 22-01-2010 03:14 PM

ESPN free this weekend?

What do they have on that's worth watching?

AddiscombeEagle 22-01-2010 04:17 PM

Can you really get 8-1 on Jets winning the superbowl, if so I am getting onto that. Four teams left, Rex Ryan and one of his defences, that is silly odds. I agree they are the outsiders out of the four remaining but 8-1 is just daft.

Swanny32 22-01-2010 04:56 PM

I have just been looking at our schedule for next season (no dates haven't been announced yet) and I gotta say, we could be in big big trouble next season if we don't pull our weight.

Home games:
Cowgirls
Foreskins
Gunts
Vikings
Packers
Texans
Colts
Falcons

Who in their right mind (going on this season) would want that lot coming to their place?

Road games:
Cowgirls
Foreskins
Gunts
Bears
Lions
Jaguars
Titans
49ers

We are really going to need to rely on our road games to get us some important wins next season but even they are tough (to an extent). I don't like Titans, Niners, Bears on the road and as for the divisional games! EUGH!

ardeo 22-01-2010 05:24 PM

I think i'm going to have to start auditioning for a new 1st team after looking at the schedule. I'll have a punt at 10-6 on our record at this ridiculously early stage.

Nope, unless you like NHL and other European football, at this time of year.

I must admit I caught the LA Galaxy final to see Becks play. Also I think they are following him at AC.

I subscribe during the month up to the baseball playoffs (watch Yankees online for the rest of the season) and about one month before the BCS. NASN left me the channel on for 3 years before that. I was loving it then Satanta went bust and my channel disappeared :sob: :sob: :sob:

I love it. You can't call yourself an American Sports fan if you don't watch PTI.

Fact.
